There are some places to sit, but they need to either increase seating and make it more like a concert or take seating away almost entirely and have everybody stand. The current set up is not safe for emergencies either. We couldn't even get to the bar to order anything, it was so cramped. What a disappointing birthday gift for our friend. When you walk in there is a long bar to the right, and right behind it in full view is the flat top grill. Now in my opinion this is great, as I can see exactly how my food is being prepared. But it's also not so great when the cook grabs a raw meat patty with her bare hands, slaps it on the grill, and then proceeds to go about her business without ever washing her hands. I watched her cook my entire meal (and probably other's) without ever washing her hands or putting on gloves. Not appealing. All in all it's good food, but I'm not sure the risks of getting sick from unsanitary food handling practices are worth it.

All that was in the sandwich was the egg and cheese. At that point, already running late for work because of the wait and the demeanor of the individual taking my order being less approachable than I would expect, I decided it wasn't worth requesting and waiting for them to correct my order. We've been going here for relaxed and fun weekend evenings since we moved to Albany and love Center. Colleen and Gary are the owners, very loving and caring people. They are incredibly generous in the community and donate so much back. It's always a pleasure to spend money here, knowing how invested they are. On the weekends, it can get very crowded and fun, especially during games or football season. It used to be very smokey sometimes and that often kept us away. With the smoking ban, it's gotten better but, the last couple of times I was there, people were still smoking inside. Hence the four stars. That said, it is always fun. The bar tenders, especially Colleen, are so attentive and fun to talk with. They treat everyone like they are special. On the weekends, you do tend to get a lot of folks from out of town, and they can get rowdy but, it's fun rowdy. Kereoke night is very entertaining! Hint: don't get suckered in by the local pool sharks.....
