We wanted a quick little session for some family photos when my son was around 1.5 years old. The weather was starting to warm up and we wanted to capture some actual photos of us all that weren't taken with an iPhone. Paul and I set up a quick session for a day/time that worked well with weather and found a nice spot to meet up for photos. I did say my son was 1.5 years old right? So he was not thrilled about sitting still for photos. Paul's ability to grab candid shots, entertain a toddler, and even make the impossible task of capturing a rambunctious toddler on camera happen almost seamlessly. My wife was so blown away with the photos Paul took, she immediately told me we will have to go back and have another session when our son is a bit older. (Plus we have to bring the dog in too) Paul will not only capture the perfect photo for you, but the work he will do to make you feel comfortable, camera ready, and deliver a great product is unmatched. This is why I loved the work that Yuliya and Oleksiy did for our wedding, I just got a copy of the pictures and I couldn't be more pleased. All you have to do is a take a look at their web site to see they are great photographers and the work they did for us was phenomenal. I guess as some one who has just gone through the whole process I see value in this review if I can express or share something you can't get from a contract, email exchange the many things you can gleam from the long grueling and painful wedding planning process. This is the one moment of truth item, its the fact that they cared and did the things they had to do to make it a great experience, believe me when i tell you not every vendor cares. The Yuka team was extremely friendly to our guests, they stuck to the letter of the contract and if anything exceeded our expectations. They were so kind and it made the day easy. Yuliya and Oleksiy cared and it showed in the product from the actual day of the wedding up until i just got a copy of my pictures a few minutes ago. Yulia has a great eye, she was able to see locations, opportunities and venues and and take advantage of them and it resulted in great pictures. I went to the shoot completely under prepared. I had no idea how to pose, what type of background I wanted, or what unique touch I wanted to add to make the photos my own. T&D had that completely handled for me (such a breath of fresh air :) They showed me a few different "maternity" poses and had 2 perfect locations already planned for me. Timothy is such a perfectionist in the perfect way. He really knew how to bring out the "Top Model" in my partner and me, who had no clue what to do with ourselves in pictures. The chemistry between Timothy and Deanne was amazing. It definitely rubbed off on us and made our pictures even more beautiful. He showed up on time and took great pictures. My mother in-law loved him and thought he was great. My wife said he was fun and made the getting ready part a blast. He kept everything light and fun. Her words, not mine. He got great pictures of our family and friends. Some my family and friends wish they could forget. Delivered the pictures quickly. I'd say about a week after giving approval on proofs. Like a week after we got back from our honeymoon. Plus an unlimited print release! Full resolution, no strings attached on DVD. Not just a handful of pictures, he gave them all to us! Even setup an online gallery/store that we could send quests to to buy pictures. That was great! Every other photographer we talked to had some issue with giving us the pictures at full resolution on DVD. Makes no sense. That's a big issue for me. I'm not gonna pay for something I already paid for again. They aren't doing anything special. Ordering them from walmart like everyone else. The experience was hassle free. He even got my buddy Tim to smile! I hadn't seen him smile in 20 years.

He did not seem to have a good eye for creative shots. I had to give him creative ideas. And the shots of me and the girls getting ready are almost non-existent. I was disappointed in the length of time it took us to get our pictures, he would tell us one date, and the date kept getting pushed back. we didn't get our photos until 3 months after they were promised to us. It was one excuse after another. And we constantly had to reach out to him, he was not very proactive with this information. After looking at our pictures, I was even more disappointed. Many were blurry and out of focus. It was evident that he didn't take his time with his camera. the worst part is that he only really took one picture of each pose, so if a picture was not in focus, that shot was ruined. Ordering prints and getting our package items was also a disappointing experience. Buyers beware... I'm not sure I have anything positive to say...

However, while we paid for two…read moreshooters, there were several separate instances where we were unable to locate either of them in our one-room venue during our reception. This was what we were trying to avoid and ultimately why we chose and paid for two photographers. We wanted to accommodate for breaks, and anything else that might come up while still having one photographer to cover. Olivia offered a partial refund for this, but ultimately went back on her word and provided zero compensation. She stated that they, "fulfilled their contract." I would have to disagree, if you pay for two photographers - you should get two photographers, or at least one when you need them! I would feel terrible if other couples weren't advised of this going into a contract with her. This was, as it is for most couples, the most expensive part of our wedding day. Though we have lots of great shots, it's a stain on my memory to think of the many missed opportunities.
