Our engagement shoot was a great introduction to what it feels like to know a camera is on you, but with Rich and Alyssa behind the lens I didn't feel weird or uneasy. Even when perusing photos from weddings of people I've never met, I get that feeling of anticipation, excitement, happiness and love. When I was looking through the pictures from my own wedding I felt all those emotions rush over me again, but it was so fun to relive the day in a way I wasn't able to. I loved the shots they took of other friends and family enjoying themselves, the things I didn't see since I was busy being "the bride". These pictures are timeless. We first worked with Alana and her team during our friends' wedding in 2023, and needless to say we were impressed immediately with her ability to organize everyone to get the bridal party photos she needed and we wanted. We kept her name in our heads for our own wedding plans, and when we were ready to begin the first steps, Alana was the very first phone call we made. Now, needless to say, as a first-time fiance I had never planned a wedding before. No idea where to begin. When I tell you Alana's first consultation was the BEST thing for us, she was absolutely amazing! She gave us a pretty rough idea of how a wedding day would typically go from a photographer's perspective, and we were able to basically wrap our plans around her schedule. I am so grateful for that.
