I said Yes and he then gave me their quick spiel. From other reviews it looks like 20% off isn't new and has been a thing for a very long time. I didn't find, in general, their prices to be too bad. A few books maybe but they're smack in the middle of the city in a high tent area and their selection of pretty much everything is great, do slightly higher prices are understandable. Highly suggest a visit for current books, back issues, slabs, and I think lots of gaming stuff as well (I didn't pay attention to their non-comic stuff). It was actually fun for me.

He told me interesting stories of some of the coins and examined them with a loupe and also had a scale to measure ounces of silver in some to see if even though they were not unusual clarity, they could be sold for their weight. A few days later, I rec'd a letter with a check for 1 of the coins that he had mislabeled and was worth more. I will be returning if I find any of interest. He has limited hrs, so call to get the recording of store hours. Not slick or gimmicky, just old-time, honest service!

It was raining, it is the week of Passover and Easter and the parking lot was a mess. I ran in, grabbed my order and thought "what a cute red bag they put it in" and ran out. My mistake was not checking to see what was actually in the bag..... Not the colors I ordered and no, I did not say that substituting the items was OK (because it wouldn't have been). Complete waste of time since I now need to return them and feel like a weirdo returning Easter stuff AFTER the holiday when I have time (and will not be returning to Cambridge). Stopped and spoke to someone about a couple of unique gold coins I had where each face was written in a different language that did not use the Roman/ Latin letters. They gave me their business card and asked me to email them a photo. It did take me a little while to email it over, but finally did and then crickets. Months later I went back and spoke to someone else and brought one of the coins with me. They photographed it and said that I should hear back soon and when I asked a couple of weeks and they said should be sooner, but that the experts were working on a big auction the next week so it may take a little longer. They took my info and said I would get back to me. I said I would stop back in a month. Went back around 6 weeks later and the person recognized me and said they hadn't heard back. I asked them to follow up and they said they would. Never heard back so I stopped in again. They said they would get back to me. Before going to them, I tried to use google translate I tried using google translate to figure out what it was and tried a few times after. The atmosphere is one of a kind--more like an arts-and-crafts boutique curated by the owner, with items you won't easily find together elsewhere. Because of the sheer breadth, some categories (like fabrics, for example) have a smaller variety, which is just an observation, not a critique. Ribbons are unrivaled. If you don't have time to wander, ask--the best part of our experience was the owner, Carol, and the staff (thank you, Lilly).
