Unfortunately, my experience has been one of repeated poor attention to detail and unacceptable customer service. In late May or early June, I notified the office that I had moved my vehicle to my Utah insurance policy and asked them to cancel my California coverage. I also explained that the credit card used to pay my premium had been compromised and replaced. Caitlyn told me they could not issue a refund to a different credit card, took my new Utah address, and assured me a refund check would be mailed. After waiting four to six weeks with no check, I sent reminder emails. Only after another follow-up did my wife receive an email stating that a refund of $2,588 had supposedly been credited on June 22 to the original credit card account. I immediately contacted my credit card company, and they informed me they have no record of any such credit to either the old compromised account or the replacement account. This is not an isolated incident. Their lack of attention to detail has been a recurring problem throughout the years. When I canceled my homeowners insurance, I was later shocked to receive a substantial invoice from a fire insurance company for coverage I never intended to keep. The matter was never handled by Anthony Cappuccino Insurance Brokers, and I ultimately had to pay for a policy I did not want after the account was sent to collections. After years as a loyal customer, this is an incredibly disappointing way to be treated. If you value accuracy, follow-through, and competent customer service, I would strongly recommend looking for another insurance broker. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Anthony Cappuccino Insurance Brokers.

On 01/14/2025, I received an email confirming that my son had been added to my insurance plan, with a note saying "We should be good to go, but if the carrier requests any supporting documents, we will let you know." However, when I contacted Oscar and Cigna on 01/31/2025, I was told there was no record of my son being added to the policy. I was assured this would be processed immediately, but despite that, we never received the confirmation or insurance card. Only after contacting Geldin Insurance did I finally receive the insurance card. I followed up multiple times, questioning why my son's insurance was under my name rather than my wife's as initially intended. Despite numerous follow-ups on 02/03, 02/05, and 02/06, the only response I received was on 02/06 stating, "We are getting this worked out with the carrier now. We will let you know when we have this fixed for you." After that, I heard nothing from them. Then, on 02/19/2025, I received a letter stating, "because you failed to provide adequate documentation of your qualifying life event, your Oscar coverage will be cancelled as of your policy effective date." I contacted Oscar and Cigna, and confirmed that my son is not on any policy, which means Geldin's failure to manage this situation properly has led to the cancellation of his insurance. To make matters worse, despite calling and leaving voicemails on 02/19/2025, no one from Geldin Insurance returned my calls. My email was even read by George Geldin on 02/19 at 11:07 AM, yet I received no acknowledgment or follow-up. It is beyond disappointing that this is how they handle their clients, especially when there was a clear mistake on their end. Not once did Geldin Insurance attempt to reach out to request the necessary documentation or provide an update on the situation. This lack of communication and care is unacceptable, especially for an insurance brokerage. I feel as though I've been left to fend for myself while they continue to ignore my concerns. I am highly disappointed by the lack of customer service and professionalism from this company, and would strongly recommend others to consider other options.
