The final result is a clean, professional install using the standard 4'H Aluminum Smooth Top - 3-Rail panel style, and it looks excellent. From start to finish, the experience was outstanding. Amanda was fantastic; she stayed in constant touch, gave clear information at every step, and kept everything wonderfully organized. She made what could have been a stressful project feel smooth and effortless. Carlos was equally impressive. He came out to personally determine the action plan and immediately gave me confidence that he would personally do a great job. He's extremely knowledgeable, listened carefully to what we needed, and followed through on everything he said he would do and then some! His crew worked efficiently and produced high-quality work. There are many fence companies out there, but Summit Fence was the only one that genuinely made me feel like they understood exactly what needed to happen and had the capability and care to do it properly. Jacob was on time to the appointment, friendly, and took his time assessing our needs. I was genuinely looking forward to working with them, but unfortunately, fate had other plans. Jacob was unable to get back to me in a timely manner due to personal reasons. In the meantime, I decided to sign with another company to complete the work I need on my property. I was disappointed that I hadn't heard back from Jacob, so I left a review here expressing that disappointment. Almost immediately upon submitting my review, the owner responded. A short time later, Jacob called to explain why he hadn't gotten back to me and apologized for having dropped the ball. While I cannot speak to the quality of their work because I did not end up hiring them, I am changing my review because I feel like the owner and Jacob reaching out despite already having lost me as a customer shows integrity and care that is lacking in many contractor businesses these days. I appreciate that they care, so it is only fair for my review to be updated to reflect that accordingly.

The first day was a hot, sunny day. The man who came aerated my lawn. He told me that he was too tired to do anything else and he was going home. He wanted to be paid even though he had not completed the treatment. I already had a check made out to him for the aeration, as well as the spraying; so I showed it to him and told him that I would give it to him when he completed the work. He was supposed to come back the next day. Next day - no show or phone call. The third day someone came and completed the treatment and accepted payment. I fired them, but someone came at another time to treat my lawn. I told him that they had been fired. I would have continued to work with them except for the old guy who came out first blighted the whole experience.

This caused me to suspect he is not accustomed to working with people of color, but in the spirit of experiencing a teachable moment, if someone agrees to pay you over $200 above your typical fee to get you to travel outside of your normal geographic range of services to draw up a plan for a renewed front yard, it is probably safe to assume they understand the concept of a HOA and can afford to buy the desired plants and hire landscapers.

Justin was severely injured in a car accident after we finalized the contract and the project was delayed for about 2 months while he recovered. I could've worked with another company during that period but preferred to have the job completed by his team. It's challenging to find a a company you can trust that also does quality work and is reasonably priced. I'm fortunate to have crossed paths with Justin. He is a man of integrity. Through it all he remained in constant communication. He was easy to work with. We were able to talk through any questions I had about the invoice and he made modifications when requested. Once the job started, his team showed up early and worked the entire day. They did a great job cleaning up each day which was important since I stayed in the house during the renovation. It is truly a family business. Justin and his wife came when the job was complete to check on things and to help haul away the trash. I love my master bathroom! It is an oasis. Needless to say, rebuilding the door frame was not in the original scope of work. However, Justin rebuilt the door casing, as well as installed the tub. Even with the additional work, the job was completed the same day and the rebuilt door frame was flawless. Highly recommend this team!
