We didn't expect my mom to die, yet they admitted her without a second thought, focusing primarily on stabilizing her with the right pain medications to quell her intense pain. Unfortunately her injuries were insurmountable, so she died in their care. Through all the hospital and doctor visits, I never felt any compassion or empathy coming from the staff. Friends of Caroline gave us the team support and comfort we craved. The organization's annual butterfly release to honor the patients who died was a remarkable event, that filled your heart with joy.
