This store has a huge variety of items, it's very well organized and the staff is very friendly!

7-9-24 Drop Off Donations Came here to drop off several home items and clothes. Note I had tried a couple times before forgetting they are closed on Sunday and Mondays. On this visit I went inside with my donations and made several trips from the car. I was offered assistance but it wasn't necessary as it truly was a short walk from my car. Many people were dropping off items to donate. From what I could see really nice stuff. I originally came here for some items from my home. But now I got everything I need as we downsized when we moved to the area. Definitely will be back with more donations soon. read more

this was one of the worst experiences I ever had moving. The company is truly unorganized and unprofessional. One of the drivers even tried to leave with some of my items that weren't promised to the company and lied to me about not having receipts. My thoughts were that they were try to take my items and sell it for themselves. I would advise everyone to be careful of this business as they are not trustworthy. read more

I have been to this location a few times and it is just okay. It is huge with lots of stuff but the housewares section is dark, I dont know why but it has always been that way. This location use to be another thrift store that I loved but after it became a Habitat location, its not as good. It is fairly well organized but just doesnt have good vibes overall. Employees dont wear matching shirts so hard to know who is who and it is just not a favorite in the area. I keep trying to like it but it is now off my list completely. Much better choices back on the island. read more

Great furniture selection. Nice staff. Very large store, lots of couches and chairs. Prices are low compared to local garage sales.

The store is awesome. Usually find some amazing treasures. A huge complaint is about the old broad that works behind the counter. She started aggressively yelling about closing half hour before 4:00( actual closing time) This was today, December 10,2022. Every time I cleared an aisle she literally screamed at me , MA'AM WE ARE CLOSING. It was 3:37 and closing time was 4. She yelled at everyone that entered after us about the store is closed. I was walking up an aisle and she literally screamed at me, " MA'AM, THE STORE IS CLOSING!!!! I looked at my watch and it was 3:45. She was INCREDIBLY RUDE. read more

To give such a poor grade to such a good cause, took some thinking on my part. I am not here to bash anyone or anyplace that is preforming a service that betters his/her fellow man/animal/affliction or agency, it is just based on my experience in this location. First, the items are not well placed nor displayed, all items seem to be dropped off 'wherever' and with no real organization nor attempt of order. The facility is dark and dusty inside and the staff is really nice but are a bit older. Again, I don't intend to come off as rigid, but they really don't have answers to questions and get overwhelmed quickly, but extremely courteous and well intentioned. (minus the manager) Some items are way to old to have any actual resale value to anyone, like a 13inch black and white TV, which there were a few, and alike items. A total waste of interior real estate display space and a downer to the eye of a potential buyer. I came across a black leather motorcycle saddle bag, which interested me, as a friend who rides had a birthday coming up. The tag said:---- $90. find it on EBAY for $300.----- Well, I wasn't going to go online at that moment to verify and felt comfortable that this statement was true. Wrong choice. Two buckles were broken on the inside, yes I should have thoroughly inspected it, and it had a smoke smell, which I didn't pick up on until I got home. I returned to inform the manager of the issues and told her that I was dissatisfied, she stated that "all sales are final". OK, I suggested a store credit, which was met with a dismissive nod (as in "NO") of her head. I walked out with a broken, stinky $90 dollar piece of junk. Upon arriving home, I happened to check EBAY out of curiosity and the bag, unless in new condition and make specifically by Harley Davidson, had no value. I think the was it was displayed and the way my request was received was in very poor taste for a non-for profit, or any organization for that matter. Buyers Beware. I would have to rate this location with one star if not for the sake of the cause and the very kind workers inside. Minus, you know who. read more

I visited the Restore in Bluffton today, I loved it. I bought a Cavalier dresser with attached mirror in mint condition for $149. Also bought a unique solid wood mirror that measures 3'x4' for $8. They had tons of "littles" if you like to browse Knick knacks, dishes, etc. They had a huge selection of framed art. The art was not my style, but the prices were so low, I bought some just to reuse the very expensive framing. The place is quite large and was easy to park and shop. Their staff helped me load the dresser into my car. I will definitely visit this store again. Of course, these places are always hit or miss. read more

We went into the Restore to drop off a few donations and, surprisingly found a beautiful queen size sofa bed in mint condition. I had not come in to purchase anything but you could tell it was a very expensive piece. We paid $99.00 for it, took it home, bought a new mattress and it is perfect for our sunroom. The people that volunteer here are very kind and helpful. This is our go to place to both donate and to shop! read more

We've made the 70-mile drive to Bluffton to shop here many, many times. It's definitely hit or miss, and there is no consistency re: pricing: A gorgeous 6 x 4 beveled mirror for $40 is next to a chewed-up wicker chair priced at $70. If you hunt long enough, you'll find some good deals. Today I approached the cash register and noticed the darling 80-year-old blonde who's checked us out at least a dozen times seemed irritable. Since she's a volunteer doing God's work, I smiled as I handed over hardback books, a lovely platter and two mercury-glass planters. Looking in my purse, I realized my wallet was at home (70 miles away). I stuttered and stammered and called my husband, who offered his credit card. She snapped, "We do not take credit cards over the phone." Completely understandable, my fail. I said, "I'm sorry, I can't buy these." She barked, "You need to put everything back where it was. NEXT!" What the actual hell? I carried the items three feet away, dropped them on the counter with a clatter and walked out. These ladies aren't enthusiastic on a good day, but today they lost my business. There are better places to spend your $$ to help the community. read more

Very poor management. I called and offered many stoves,fridges rangehoods and many other appliances. Truck showed up towards end of the day items picked thru to go to thier on homes, second truck came in this time with a second party to load up. Next day manager calls and said i was shady on the items I gave them. First off not sure what went to store and what went for resalse somewhere else, What i do know is that many of the items given just came out and new installed, and many free parts for the takeing for anything not working. Very shady folks there I think. I will not every use or recomend the store again. New and honest management needed there withh out a doubt read more

We're moving and downsizing, the 2 gentlemen from Habitat arrived promptly, were quite pleasant, mannerly and helpful. They took things I needed to get rid of, with no snarky cracks, did not reject anything... Why have I bothered with the other 'resale' organizations, from now on it is Habitat all the way.
