I got a hot stone massage with Mary Kate-- 'twas lovely. Professional and relaxing, I'd never had that sort of massage before... And it was great. The other reviewers are right-- the place is clean, soothing, and also spacious (not all massage rooms are)... And I really appreciated Mary Kate checking in with me throughout the service to make sure I was warm enough, that the stones weren't too hot, that I'd like aromatherapy, etc. Plus, she was generous with her time. We were late getting started, and she added time to the end of my massage, so that it was a full hour. I know that's not always possible, but it was kind. My body has been taking a beating from baseball, TRX training, and my routine running schedule, so a massage was in order. Since I'm working away from home during the week and that my regular masseuse doesn't book appointments on weekends, I needed to find someone in the Andover area. I searched Yelp and found favorable reviews for Andover Massage Therapy. I went to their website and used their appointment schedule to easily choose a masseuse and book an appointment. The technical aspect of the visit had worked flawlessly. Now, on to the actual massage. My massage therapist, Adrienne Gill, was very professional, a gifted masseuse, and above all showed a genuine concern for my overall well-being. The hour massage was fantastic! She was able to massage away my stored up lactic acid and I left feeling rejuvenated. The massage studio is in downtown Andover and is exactly what you would expect when looking for a massage. The price was equivalent to the service provided and in the range of other massages that I had received in the past at other studios. When I need another rub down, I'll definitely go back and see Adrienne at Andover Massage Therapy. Oooo la la!!! I haven't had a professional massage in forever! Working right near this place, and having had a family member who went to have one and LOVED it, I decided (last minute), I needed a "me" moment. It's within walking distance of my job, and knew it was time for some much needed relaxation. I called and a very professional helpful gentleman answered the phone, and gave me some options for times. The time I needed was open, and off I went to my "happy place" (I was hoping...) This place is so serene and the rooms are set up beautifully...they definitely cater to their clientele of creating a peaceful environment. I was welcomed by a lovely young woman, Sheena Mastromarino, and found out she would be my massage therapist. We went over everything I was looking for....and she was extremely professional, polite, & calm (I know this seems like an oxymoron, but I've had plenty of massages where I think they were using my body as a means of getting out their frustration of some god forsaken issue of the day, and I left bruised and trying to find my "happy place" in my car). It was ABSOLUTELY THE BEST massage I have ever had!! I'm super prone to headaches and she was able to show me exactly where the pressure points were to use on my headaches in the future. She described exactly what she was doing, and why, and was sensitive to whether the pressure was too hard or too soft. By the end, I couldn't wait to schedule my next appointment with her...she is simply fantastic at what she does. Being a massage therapist myself, I wanted to go to a place that was recommended by a friend of mine. I had Christina as my therapist and she was amazing. Great pressure all the way throughout the massage, something that I look for in a therapist. Great flow with the massage, always kept in contact so I never had to wonder where she was and overall highly professional. I've been seeing Christina for massages for a while now I found her through a referral from the owner of the gym I go to. I went to her with hip tightness in the beginning cause she does some trigger point massaging and hot stones. I love Christina she awesome and not only gives a amazing massage and she has great energy but the place in general is very inviting and relaxing. there massage beds are the most comfortable beds I've ever laid on. read more

This review is long overdue. I went here many months ago for a massage. I called in advance because I had some gift certificates that had expired and wanted to make sure it was not an issue. I had a 60 min massage with Sheena (not even sure she is still there) and it was amazing! She was very good. I knew she knew her pressure points because she made my nose run!! LOL The atmosphere at this place was peaceful and welcoming. I went with a friend who had a hot stone massage by Mary Kate. She enjoyed the experience as well and she had never had a massage like that before. The prices are fair and if I could afford it I would do this weekly! Highly recommend this place! read more

I had the opportunity to visit your massage studio last Monday while traveling to Andover on business. I receive massage weekly to help me with thorasic outlet syndrome. I was skeptical about the quality of massage I would receive at your facility as I always am at any facility, until I get to know a therapist and they have an opportunity to get familiar with my specific needs. I was really very impressed with Sheena. She was absolutely fabulous. I enjoyed my time with her and the therapeutic benefits for several days after. She is to be commended for her skills. She was able to quickly identify the stress patterns in my body and skillfully, utilizing many techniques work them away. She was even using techniques that I was unfamiliar with. I was especially impressed with her willingness to "go for it", especially with me being a first time client. During my intake we discussed my history and that I routinely have my scalenes worked on, I requested that she work on them for me to her comfort level. She competently "got right in there" and worked out the kinks without being invasive. It was very clear to me that she was very intuitive about her work, and I swear that she was able to apply different pressure with each finger depending on my needs. As someone who receives a regular massage, I wanted you to be aware of my expierience and how valuable I feel that Sheena is to Andover Massage.
