I had no idea what the going rate is for this type of photography; it wasn't a wedding per se, so it didn't have the "formal" feel that you'd associate with wedding photography, but at the same time we very much did appreciate the opportunity to visually document our vows, and Autumn's rates for event photography are EXTREMELY reasonable (possibly even low, I'm not sure). He takes the time to go over what you need for your special day and listens to any concerns. I'm chronically ill so I had to take breaks during the wedding day and while I was resting, Steve and his assistant Ami were taking incredible pics in the reception hall. His pricing is top notch- you couldn't get a better photographer. I picked western MA for our wedding because I went went to college at Umass Amherst and love the area. When we first met Steve, he actually recommended Look Park in Florence, MA to us since where we originally wanted it at Mount Pollux would've been a huge physical strain on myself (the bride) due to being sick and also to older family members. When we saw the park, we knew that was where we were always suppose to have it at. He made the night one we will never forget, and I will forever be grateful we decided on Koloski Photography. You will be coerced into spending thousands of dollars. Not tens. Not hundreds. Thousands. Now you might be thinking to yourself, "if that's true, how come reviews of this business are so high on Google?" That's because this business painstakingly appeals and removes every negative review. As for the reviews that the owner can't convince Google to delete? She personally threatens the reviewer with a lawsuit. That means that this business only appears to have a positive rating because the owner has hand-picked them and removed the many, many negative ratings. I have nothing to gain from posting this besides to warn people not to end up like me: tricked into spending thousands during a "free" photoshoot and threatened with a lawsuit once I complained.
