Looking for a dentist?? Dr. Rudnicks office and his care is without flaw. I worked for 12 years as a surgical dental assistant and still i have a terrible fear of dentists. I would never recommend this office to a friend based on simply the way it is run by the manager at the front desk. Prior to entering the office this morning, I was quoted $875 after insurance for a crown/core buildup from their office staff over the phone. Today, the day of my appointment the manager slaps a paper in front of my face saying that the new price is hundreds more and to sign the paper authorizing this and a total charge of $2300 insurance included. Since I did not plan to pay more than $875, I asked why the price was different than what I was quoted over the phone. The manager stated that "this is what they charge" and the doctor makes his own quotes and someone probably told me that without checking. This portion I understand but it was the subsequent follow up that was shockingly inappropriate in my opinion. In so few words the manager basically stated that, because I couldn't tell her who I directly spoke with on the phone, the miss quoted price was essentially my fault. Furthermore, after discussing it with the dentist, her exact words were " he doesn't want to argue with you, he'll take off the additional charge" Mind you, there was no arguing before this. Purely an inquiry as to why the price went up 150% from my originally quoted price. Also, keep in mind that other reviews mention the same type of behavior. I am also wondering who speaks to an office staff member weeks in advance and remembers an exact time and name of who they spoke to? My boyfriend proceeded to ask a question and she immediately told him to shut up by basically saying she doesn't have to speak to him due to HIPPA. We are both Medical professionals and are very understanding of HIPPA and this is why I can say confidently that it was not applicable at all. As somebody who works in the medical field in one of the major hospitals here, I am shocked by the behavior of this office manager towards the patients. In fact, I wish I could tell you the amount of times she said to my face how she "doesn't care" that somebody else gave us a quote or about any of my other concerns. You NEED to care if you are in the health field, period. This was the worst way I've ever been treated and just for asking a question. It seems they may take advantage of too many people on a daily basis and get upset when it's questioned. Sad part is, I still would've paid the up charge until the manager started raising her voice with me. I left due to the simple concern that she behaved this way over a question, and I couldn't imagine if anything actually did go wrong with a procedure. Considering the questionable billing practices, the awful patient experience with the office manager, and the cookie cutter approach to treatment I would just stay away from this place. read more

Extremely rude first encounter. I requested an appointment using their website. They called me the following morning and requested my insurance information. Then proceeded to tell me they were not part of the network even after I confirmed on my insurance website that they were indeed part of the network. I tried to three-way conversation with my insurance company, and again the office manager was extremely rude and basically hung up on the insurance person. I would never go here. read more

Dr. Rudnick is an excellent dentist , there's not much waiting time once you have arrived. Everyone has their job to do and they know their stuff , the people who work for dr. Rudnick has been with him for years, and that tells a lot about a Dr. just recently I had to have 2 crowns and 2 veneers in the top front and they look beautiful can't say enough about the workmanship. read more

Dr. Rudnick spent 5 min with me telling me i had TMJ, Told me it would cost $7500 and I was desperate so I did it. What a waste of time and money. Did absolutely nothing and after he says you need to raise the teeth to get rid of it. I would strongly recommend going to see Dr. Mark Demerau who has major training in this ( Dr. Rudnick took a few courses in Las Vegas) They tell you the first time you go to give them 5 stars rating, that is why he has 5 stars on his website. I had a wonderful experience. I would highly recommend this dentist. The office is very clean and hygienic. The whole staff is very friendly, caring, and professional. I felt like I was in good hands. Dr. Rudnick is truly a magician. His skill and talents transformed my smile into one i am proud of. Dr. Rudnick as well as everyone in the office are truly compassionate going above and beyond to make me feel comfortable. Dr. Rudnick explained each procedure as he was performing it to keep me informed and educated. I also value the honesty I received. Other dentists have exaggerated my dental needs and he told me what was necessary and what was not. I was happy to hear i did not need braces or implants! I am a newly retired dentist moving to the west palm beach area..my wife was having a problem with an implant placed by me one year ago.I got a referral to Dr. Rudnick from a friend of mine who is a patient of his. He and his staff were amazingly courteous and helpful and a cone scan X-ray revealed that the problem was not significant.Usually,to do this diagnosis would require a visit to an oral surgeon that would have this $100,000 diagnostic x-ray machine.The state of the art equipment and cleanliness in his office are the model of modern dentistry , and his staff are exemplary of a fine toothed(pun intended) machine. When I called this office (number given to me on a facebook group page), I made it clear I needed a hard nightguard for my TMJD. I'd lost mine, and was also interested in some botox or tens machine treatment for the same. The lady on the phone said, "Let's get you in and see what he says." Well, they did some testing by sticking pads to my face, having me open and close, producing a colorful chart with a bunch of numbers on that meant nothing to me - telling me what I already know: I have TMJ. I'm afraid there are no choices below their "Treatment Plan" to the tune of $6500 - no in between, or sessions according to what you can afford or are willing to spend on treatment which, frankly, gives no guarantee it'll be cured. TMJ treatment incorporates many factors - neck alignment, grinding, teeth alignment, sleeping position. These all need to be treated in different ways, such as physical therapy, massage, nightguard. I'm afraid this office came accros as money hungry and with a 'one size fits all' approach. They knew what I wanted and made no effort to inform me they only do this years-long type of "Treatment Plan." They did say they order the different guards from "...the only place in the country that makes them...", hence the reason for the exorbitant cost. I'm willing to try a hard nightguard from my dentist before this type of outlay, since it has worked in the past. Consultation: $125. Time spent with the doctor: Around 6 mins. read more

As another reviewer stated "Be wary of his billing practices. He bills upfront and then won't reimburse for his overcharges based on his allowable rates with your insurance company, even as an in network provider." This pretty much sums up my issue with this office. In March 2021 they provided me with a treatment plan that seemed unusually expensive for the work I required but assured me that if my insurance covered more than they anticipated, I would be reimbursed for the overcharge. After the first two visits I realized that based on my insurance plan, I had been overcharged. I have been in contact with Christine (office manager?) for several months trying to resolve the issue. I have given her detailed accountings of the overcharge, including spreadsheets, simple explanations and conversations with little results. I have turned this matter over to my dental insurer to investigate the overcharge. As for the glowing reviews, some people will do anything for $50. read more
