Dr. Slavin is the most conscientious and the most talented Surgeon I've experienced to date! I'm still in his care after a very bad boating incedent September 9th. There has not been one time where I did not feel confident and cared for by him or his staff! I just finally had the strength to look at my before pic that my son took. Basically Dr. Slavin is a brilliant craftsman. The right side of my face was like Humpty Dumpty after he fell off the wall. I had several bone fractures, including 2 or 3? In my jaw. Some of my teeth were falling out and nerves were sliced through out ... While my jaw is still wired today, I am not only looking semi normal again. I am starting to get the feeling back in my jaw and face! Apparently, this was never a guarantee. I want to say that, throughout my dealings with Dr. Slavin, there has not been one time, where I did not feel like a cared about human being and that my satisfactory recovery was their first priority. I have had one appointment in his office weekly since leaving the hospital, I had been in icu for 2 weeks. I have never been kept waiting lmore then 10 minutes . I feel like everyone cares and knows my name. I can't say enough good things about this Doctor and his office. My mouth is wired shut, but Im not riddled with anxiety before an appointment. It is because of how he and his staff treat me. I honestly feel I'm in the most capable and skilled hands I could be in. Everything runs smoothly. Rare with other doctors in my past. One more thing, a spring/wire broke in my jaw brace... I called the doctors office the day after Hurricane Matthew, when every office was closed. Dr. Slavin not only called me back, right away. He met me at the ER himself to fix it AND He was waiting for me when I arrived? So far, office visits have been 10 min or less. The perfect experience for a very traumatic situation. read more

Dr Slavin and his staff are exceptional! I recently went in for consultation to see if I needed implants. Some oral surgeons may be quick to operate. Dr Slavin carefully explained my X-rays, gum and tooth status in laymen terms. And explained surgery was not necessary at this time. I trust Dr Slavin because he performed a very delicate and detailed surgery on my daughters gums where she had permanent teeth missing. She now has a beautiful smile! I was nervous to have my wisdom teeth removed because I had a past experience that turned out bad. Doctor Slavin and his caring staff put me at ease, carefully explaining the entire procedure. I was placed under sedation for the procedure and awoke in what felt like minutes, not remembering or feeling a thing.
