Dr. Bliss had a very calming and kind demeanor, he seems like a person who genuinely enjoys caring for people. Going to the doctor can be a stressful experience, but Dr. Bliss and his partner made it a relaxing one. I'd genuinely look forward to going back! I could happily spend my whole day in there - especially since Laura is so darn friendly and such a warm and lovely conversationalist! Dr. Bliss is equally amicable. He truly takes time to get to know you, listen to all your concerns, and ensure you feel heard. I'm the kind of person who is skittish around doctors due to having been shamed by them in the past for different issues like weight or lifestyle choices. Dr. Bliss approaches patients in a way that is very affirming and positive and I felt totally at ease expressing all my concerns to him. He gave me all the information I needed without any judgement. I had such a great experience here that I immediately established care for my 14yo here too. My kiddo has a lot of anxiety about going to the doctor but he pretty much echoed all the sentiments I've already stated in this review. After his appointment, he talked a lot about how nice Dr. Bliss was and I noticed he wrote "You guys are awesome!" on his exit slip. She made me feel comfortable and relaxed every step of the way, talking me through everything. Dr. Karmali is extremely kind, attentive, gentle, humble, and calming. She went to UW Med School, so extra points for that! Another cool thing is that Swedish uses MyChart, an online personal health record system where you can see your medical history, appointments, messages from your doctor, etc. Strangely, when I called to make an appointment, the receptionist said that Dr. Karmali did not have any openings until January 2015. However, when I went online to MyChart, I saw multiple openings between now and the end of the year. I ended up making an online appointment with Dr. Karmali for early December and cancelling my phone-made appointment with another doctor at Swedish. I am so excited to go see Dr. Karmali again soon!

After my motorcycle accident in 2009 Dr. Karmali checked up on me and worked with my medical records from Harborview to continue with my pain management care. To this day she still works closely with me on this care and has been very good at keeping an eye out for my health and well being and continues to work with my pain management doctor at Harborview. Dr. Karmali set me up with MyChart (available to all Swedish patients) when I moved back to WA and through that I am able to discuss issues with her without having to make an appointment to go into the clinic (I'm already there enough as it is!) and she is quick to get back to me usually same day but definitely within 24 hours. She even responds on her days off and to me, that is complete dedication and proves just how much she cares about her patients. I have recommended her to a couple of friends and they love her as well. Dr. Karmali is very knowledgeable and caring. If she is unsure of something she will investigate the issue to ensure that you get the best possible care. She is just an amazing doctor and an even more amazing person.

We discussed a few issues that I thought were minor and she recommended just some overall bloodwork to get a baseline. Side note, I was 37 at the time...no huge worry for age related issues. Well Dr. Constans attention to detail, knowledge, and overall concern for her patient saved my life. She was concerned with a slight elevation on my bloodwork and looked into it deeper. Mind you, I believe I had this same elevation a year prior with my previous doctor getting bloodwork after my daughter was born. She found that it was possible that I had Leukemia. Fast forward to a trip to an oncologist/hematologist and she was correct. Caught it early and I'm in treatment with a much better response due to it being caught so early. She called personally to check on me after my official diagnosis and has always made sure I get appointments in a timely manner if something comes up. She cares, she's honest, she's knowledgeable, and she's just an overall amazing doctor. I highly recommend her.

She started asking me incredibly inappropriate questions like was I raped, did I start using drugs, was I being abused, etc. To some this experience may seem uncomfortable but when I've known this woman my whole life and she knows that I'm in remission for anorexia, and have past attempts on my life...this experience was far more than uncomfortable. I left her office crying and hyperventilating to the point that my mother had to sit with me in the car for 15 minutes trying to calm me down enough so I could speak. During one of the lowest points of my life Dr.Torrez chose to not only ignore me but completely destroy any of the little confidence I had left in me. I began working with Janna Cuneo as my PCP in 2019 and followed her to Wise Patient Internal Medicine in 2022. She praised the clinic's model. The website promised coordinated care, same-day access, unhurried visits, and expertise in gender medicine. I was rural, disabled, and medically fragile, so I trusted her. That trust harmed me. The decline starting in 2024 was catastrophic. My blood pressure, critical with diabetes and kidney disease, went unmanaged for months. I repeatedly shared logs and asked for adjustments but was told to wait weeks or more. When she was away on one of her many unplanned extended leaves, I messaged her colleague, who immediately recognized and corrected the danger. BP management is basic primary care. Failing to control it shortens my lifespan. Prescription chaos was constant: refills late or wrong, doses increased by 50 percent when we had discussed 10, controlled meds in the wrong formulation and sent to the wrong pharmacy, leaving me without them during flares. In late 2024, I waited weeks for my estrogen refill only to learn she had prescribed unsafe oral progesterone, contraindicated given my family history of clots. These were life-and-death mistakes. In January 2025, I scheduled an appointment to align prescriptions with a new pharmacy and start a prior authorization for a med that keeps me out of the hospital. Despite my planning and over ten follow-ups, prescriptions still went wrong, and I ran out of several meds for a week. They didn't even start the prior auth for 2+ weeks. Staff brushed it off, suggesting I use GoodRx or skip the meds, as if they were condiments. In reality, I was left without life-sustaining medication. It was not just meds. This clinic bungled lab orders, referrals, and disability paperwork. I had to act as project manager to survive. Coordination, supposedly their strength, was nonexistent. Access was another broken promise. Messages often went unanswered for more than a week, sometimes not at all. I ended up booking monthly appointments just to force accountability for labs, prescriptions, and pharmacy info. Even then she failed to show up. In May, during a flare that nearly hospitalized me, she no-showed one visit without apology, canceled another last minute, and called an hour late to the third, rushed after hours, and mis-ordered my meds again. When I documented errors, she falsified notes with "as we previously discussed" about things we never discussed. At the same time, she blurred boundaries with her constant "friend" routine, using fake intimacy to deflect from the harm. This was manipulative, not care, and it deepened the betrayal. When I escalated to Sam Warren, the clinical director, his response was worse. After Janna no-showed me, he did not hold her accountable. Instead he asked me, a disabled patient in crisis, for advice on "best practices" for running his clinic. When I later formally requested reassignment to a safer clinician with interim coverage, his response was silence. No reply, no acknowledgment, not even basic decency. A clinical director who ignores documented patient harm is complicit in it. The impact was cumulative: unmanaged blood pressure, destabilized hormone care, lapses in critical medications, near hospitalization, wasted energy, and emotional harm from being gaslit by people I trusted. Janna loved to talk about "the system," how broken it was, how she was protecting me from it. The truth is that she was not protecting me at all. She became another cog in the system she criticized, incompetent and dangerous. Sam Warren's silence sealed it. Wise Patient claims all kinds of things. What I lived was chaos and abandonment. Behind the glossy promises, Wise Patient is unsafe and unaccountable.
