I have Mr. Andy Macleod with State Farm as our Insurance Agent. Andy is very knowledgeable, helpful, courteous, honest and patient in answering all questions. As usual, I greatly appreciate Andy's time and help related to our Auto Insurance Policy and Home Owner's Insurance Policy. Andy advises me as to how we can reduce Insurance Premium not only about Auto Insurance but also about Home Owner's Insurance. Recently my daughter got her Driver's License after she turned 18. I am incredibly surprised from Andy that how little it costs to add my daughter as she got the Good Student Discount and Steer Clear Discount. She has joined College now. Andy hooked me up with the "Best Rate" I can possibly imagine. State Farm is GREAT with YOUNG DRIVERS ! I am very happy that Andy is our State Farm Insurance Coordinator. Andy's Assistant Jessica Hall is also very helpful. A couple of months ago, one of my friends in North Carolina was looking for an Auto Policy Quote as he was paying more Premium with another Insurance Career. I contacted Andy and Jessica answered the phone. Jessica is knowledgeable as well and promptly conveys the information to Andy and he returns my call. Jessica gave valuable information to my friend and now my friend and family are with State Farm Auto Policy. My friend is very happy that State Farm's Auto Policy is at least $150 LESS/MONTH compared to their previous Insurance Career. Called this office several weeks ago and spoke to a rude, snotty and entitled female. I simply wanted a quote and she proceeded to interrogate and quiz me. I'm pretty certain she didn't need to know every single detail as to why I was calling. Horrible customer service!! I still never received a call back. Andy and the whole team are amazing! My car was stolen while we were traveling over 4th of July weekend and Andy got me taken care of in no time on Saturday of the holiday weekend! In less than 30 minutes he had filed my claim and had me in a rental car--again on a Saturday morning of a holiday weekend. I wanted to stop in my tracks today and send this review. I do not use State Farm for my insurance needs but I will be moving in due time to Andy Macleod. Today, I randomly called him to inquire about insurance for a one day event after getting a very high quite from my current agent (different insurance company). He took time to help me by pointing me to an online solution at a fraction of the cost. He clearly cares about customers (and Im not even a customer). This is my second review of Andy Mcleod and I wish I could have the star rating go up instead of just staying at 5 stars. I recently had to call on Andy multiple times to help me out with applying for a home loan, because I needed documentation of home insurance. While Andy also does home loans, he not once asked me or pressured me into seeing if I wanted to check out what he had to offer, instead he just immediately e-mailed me the paper work that I needed. On top of that, it took the loan so long to process that the original document that Andy sent me expired and when asked, Andy sent me another one in minutes. Another recent experience with Andy was when I received a weird letter from my home loan company. They said that the address that I had claimed and the address being claimed by my insurance agent were different, but when I read the two addresses on the letter, they were identical. Not only did Andy and I laugh together at the silliness, but he also offered to be conferenced in on the phone call to my loan company if needed to help figure things out. Andy will go above and beyond anyone else in regard to your needs, never pressure you about anything, but also will be knowledgeable and helpful if you are ever interested in other products that he sells. Our family have been Hartford loyalists for 50 years. That is until a month ago. We received the annual premiums and I made a courtesy call to make sure the profile data was correct and to advise that two vehicles were strictly leisure. Guess what? They turned around and raised our premiums instead of lowering them and then had the gall to ask me if "they could count on us for our business". I think not. So we started shopping for quotes. On my way out of the gym, I saw one of Andy's vehicles with the his mug shot and phone number parked in the lot. Nothing ventured, nothing gained. I called him. What a pleasant surprise. A real human being to talk with and someone who did not talk down to me. We discussed all the options for vehicles and residences. Apples for Apples, Andy was able to save our family over a $1,000.00!!!! The paperwork was processed promptly and painlessly. He even came by the house to say thank you. I kick myself for not having explored options earlier. If you have been sitting on your laurels like I was, don't. Make a phone call. It could save you money. As far as customer service goes, Andy is as good as it gets. He will bend over backwards to help you if he can. This means that he often is swamped with customers and his time can be hard to get a piece of every now and then, but it is totally worth it! He was able to get our home refinance through the underwriters with StateFarm Bank even when no one else wanted to touch it! I run a couple businesses and he helps me plan for the future with IRAs, car insurance, home insurance, life insurance and so much more! He's my friendly neighborhood State Farm guy! read more

Being a State Farm client for many years in Purcellville and always being completely satisfied I would not have given any start but Yelp made me. I have made repeated requests and not one was ever answered. I finally had to request to move to a different office which also had to be requested several times. They are unprofessional and never return a call. This is a one man show with the worst customer care EVER!! Please, I love State Farm but look for another office in or around your area!!!! read more
