I completed the application process and told the VP of Mortgage Lending that I only have a certain amount of time before my rate guarantee at another lender would expire and was told he would respond immediately. The VP was unresponsive and it took days of repeated calls to to get a response and the responses were continued assurance of the lowest rate. A few more days went by with more unanswered calls so after my guaranteed rate at the other institution expired, I was able to speak to the VP again and his response was "we can't beat the rate you elicited since it's through Costco." Moral of the story? Use Costco mortgage program because Guaranteed Rate will not be able to beat them. Don't waste your time with this unprofessional company.

Gabriel Terreson violates the realtor code of ethics by working as both an agent and a lender. He never answers his phone and never followed through with any of his promises. They agreed to close on a certain date but asked for a two week extension only three business days before closing. Their only reason is that they were too busy to get it done on time. Everything was complete and waiting on them. They guaranteed that they would have it done by the extension date (that we all agreed to) but asked for yet another extension because the seller was on a planned vacation that Gabe never informed us about. We have a documented transaction where the agent purposefully used a decoy loan officer from a different branch and had his transaction coordinator from his Vancouver branch do the loan. Stay away from Savi Realty and Northwest Funding Group. If they make an offer on your home, don't accept it.
