At the present moment I work of Lakeshore and didn't realize this gas station was just down the…read moreroad. Often time I'd go out of my way to get gas and have recently found this place. Note, they there is another gas station across the street, but what makes this place better is the simple fact that they have a car wash. From my experience, the other gas stations anywhere near this place is notorious for have people park their car and spending what seems like hours on their phone wasting my time. This location is always free from clutter and the staff always seems friendly. It is because of all above mentioned comments that i recommend this gas station, however the only reason for not giving 5 stars is the simple fact that gas station staff often changes. But it was nearby and had a decent selection for being so small. We always used to laugh at the marquee sign out front that said "fine wine and boiled peanuts"... the key to any south Alabama quality evening. And although I never tried the peanuts (i'm a bit of a boiled peanut snob), they actually did have a vast variety of wines. They also had a decent craft beer selection. Not great. But once again pretty good for a store this size. The staff is always friendly and once again very convenient for this side town. A great spot for a quick in and out if you are looking for convenience.

I didn't look around too much but this was your typical convenience store. The cashier was friendly, the gas pump area was clean and the pumps were as well. I would come here again if I'm ever in the area.

When you tap the card it goes through the process then terminates the transaction ... then tells you that you need to see the attendant, Ridiculous! Once it cancels out you are able to insert your card for standard payment. Prices here are high, really high. Gas is about 10 cents higher than the places I typically go. Also, as I was driving out I noticed the propane tank exchange/purchase station with posted prices. Price for a new tank ---- $15 higher than the average selling price .... again ridiculous. Overall not impressed and I wouldn't go out of my way to come here in the future, I'd opt for just about anywhere else.

They are both just off of Interstate 65, so I guess it depends which way you decide to head, whether right or left, whether you save a few pennies on every gallon of gasoline that you purchase. Inside of this gas station has the usual convenience store items and the staff is relatively friendly. I guess if you live in the neighborhood this is not a bad place to grab some gasoline I may be a water or a soda for yourself.

I went and pulled the tag from the cooler. Then she then she argued they were not the right size. Showed her the tag and the bottle said 700 ml. She then said the tags were old. Would not honor the price on the shelf, made up reasons why when it was shown to her. In the days of quickly swiping a card, I wonder how much mislabeling and overcharging they have done. Aside from all the normal stuff you'd find in a gas station, they also have boiled peanuts and locally made treats. There is a new carwash, so yeah. On top of that, there are three entrances.
