They were scheduled for additional procedures that they didn't really need, so I stepped in and tried to get them a cleaning, they no longer have a dental hygienist at that office or any office near Akron. So the girls never received a cleaning. I was told by Dr. Jordan that I could not receive a normal cleaning and needed a more in depth scraping and under the gum cleaning, there was an error when obtaining the eligibility from my insurance, so DentalWorks completed the cleaning that I was not eligible for, but they told me I was. I now have a huge bill for a procedure I didn't even want, I was told I didn't have a choice but to have this type of cleaning. They told me that I was responsible for the appeal. So I have been appealing this claim with the insurance. Never in my life have I the patient been the one that has to appeal the claim. So Frustrating! I will never go back to another DentalWorks again and will advise all my friends and family to stay clear from that place!

From Nikki and the ladies manning the front lines to Dr Jordon and Molly having to put up with my constant stupid questions and lame attempts at comedy while having to stay focused on the task at hand, five stars is an insult! Thankfully I did not need a root canal and saved a bundle of money. Then Dr. Kline put a crown on my back molar and also sanded down the upper tooth so my bite was right. Dr. Kline is down to earth, very approachable, and is outstanding in discussing what is needed, and what may not be needed in dental treatment. He is outstanding in being sensitive to whether the patient feels any pain. He is very, very careful and pays attention to the patient, in order that the patient is not experiencing pain and when he worked on me, he pulled away when he could tell I began wincing and one time during the procedure he asked me if I wanted to "be numbed", or if I was going to be okay; things like this. He also is very good at understanding what you say when your mouth is full of dentist tools. I just really felt this is such a special, caring place. I have recommended this dentist to people, already.

Telling them my 90 year old grandma was in pain and needed treatment asap was met with patronizing behavior. Was told the dentist was ill but a jaguar was parked in the lot. Ended up taking my grandmother to Jennifer Jerome on brown street. Amazing place. Coincidentally, they tried to get my grandmother's records from 2K dental and they would not release them. I had…read moreread reviews saying that the reception staff were rude and condescending, however, to be quite honest, they were very pleasant and helpful. On the other hand, we could not say the same about one dentist that worked there. He didn't introduce himself or greet us in anyway when he walked into the room, was rude to my wife and seemed as if he had other things on his mind. My son and wife did not deserve that. I will be taking my family's business elsewhere and recommend others do the same.

This was an additional payment from our monthly payment around $100. They should have let us know that something wasn't covered and asked how we could pay for it. Should be illegal! Definitely unprofessional! Update... After calling the insurance company to find out what wasn't covered, I found out that the insurance company hadn't paid for several months, claiming that they didn't receive any claims for those months. The office reversed the withdrawl and was willing to apologize for not informing us of the communication (or lack of) between them and the insurance company. Dr. Barnett and his staff are wonderful and we have loved our treatment there. It was unfortunate to have this unexpected hassle today, but it was resolved to our satisfaction.
