I recently had my very first massage at Angel House on 8/27/2025. As someone who was a bit nervous and unsure of what to expect, I scheduled a one-hour deep tissue massage to help relieve the severe muscle tightness in my back, shoulders, and knee. To my surprise, the experience was exceptional. I walked out feeling significantly lighter and more relaxed, with much of the pain and tightness noticeably reduced -- especially in my shoulders, back, and knee. The relief lasted several days, which was more than I could've hoped for. Encouraged by the results, I immediately booked a 90-minute follow-up for the following week (9/3/2025). Since I hadn't caught the name of my first therapist, I simply requested whoever was available. That's how I ended up with Mona--or perhaps Monai (I apologize for not catching the correct spelling). All I can say is: that second massage was nothing short of life-changing. I told her generally where I was experiencing tightness, particularly in my lower back and right shoulder. Incredibly, she not only found those problem areas quickly but also discovered others I hadn't even realized were tense. As she worked, I could feel how different muscle groups were interconnected -- tension melting away in one area and bringing unexpected relief to another. Partway through the massage, something unexpected happened: my sinuses began to fill, and moisture welled up around my eyes. It wasn't pain or sadness -- just a strange emotional and physical release, perhaps from stress or toxins being worked out of my system. She incorporated stretches for my legs, hips, shoulders, and neck that brought back a range of motion and ease I hadn't felt in years. To call this experience "magical" is honestly an understatement. Afterward, I sat in my car in the parking lot for nearly 20 minutes, just absorbing the overwhelming sense of calm and peace. I wasn't numb -- I was deeply present, yet completely at ease. I spent the rest of the day in a meditative, blissful state. That feeling carried through into the next morning, and even now, I'm still feeling its effects. Needless to say, I'll be returning. I believe anyone would benefit from a massage at Angel House, but if you happen to get Monai, you may very well experience one of the best massages of your life. read more

Very good deep tissue massage work! The Thai massage is very hands and feet-on, with the massage therapist using her hands, arms, and feet to get the muscles to relax. My muscles are naturally tight, and the deep tissue massage broke through their tightness to target the muscles really hurting underneath the exterior ones. I've only had Kate so far the two times I've been, but she is wonderful. Very gentle, polite, and knowledgeable about all the muscle groups I ask her about. The place is also very, very clean, as others have noted. A minor downside is there is no public restroom. The ONLY reason I'm rating this place as 4 and not 5 star is because my issue has not been resolved yet. But I'm a special case with minor Cerebral Palsy, so for most people I believe one massage will be enough to soothe your tight muscles. I will be updated my rating once it is resolved. read more

Real review here! I booked myself an appointment for my boyfriend and I for his birthday on Sunday. I booked us for 4PM but called around 1 to see if we could come in earlier, which we did at 2:30. We arrived early but the receptionist got us into our appointment within 10/15mins. I booked us a couple massage for an hour pricing us at $150. Mona was my boyfriend's masseuse and I'm not sure who was doing mine but regardless we both enjoyed it from start to finish. I'm about 8mons pregnant and my boyfriend is an athlete so this massage was very needed! It didn't feel rushed, we got the full hour, and both of the masseuses would ask us throughout the session if we were okay! I'm glad I choose going here instead of Hand & Stone... I am doing this review a month later than expected but I needed to come here to say - my massage with Moana was the best massage I have ever had in my life. My back and legs were extremely tense for months on end & I needed some kind of relief. I left feeling alive again. Before I had felt like a shell of a person, tense & in pain. My body has literally felt better ever since I left. Moana puts her heart & soul into her work. I didn't feel rushed, which was important to me after going to corporate places like Massage Envy. I have been having some muscles lock up in my back lately. It was bad enough that I had to get some heavy duty anti-inflammatory meds back in April. I was looking for a massage that would help- I have had a Thai massage before, but I don't have a budget for a $100 massage at some of the big chain places. A friend told me he has had a legit Thai massage at this place, and I will admit I was skeptical- Thai massage is a TECHNIQUE. I went over and got a massage that made me feel better for like 3 weeks. I'm not exaggerating at all. The whole place is really really nice and everyone is very kind. I can't believe I drove by this place 1,000 times before trying it. Angel at Angel House Thai Massage gave me the best massage I have ever experienced. She listened to me and spent most of the time on my neck and shoulders. I had been having chronic neck pain for the past year. Medication did not help. She was able to loosen up the entire neck and shoulder area with a deep tissue massage. My husband and I wanted to try a Thai massage so I started googling trying to find one near us. I saw so many good reviews for Angel House and decided to try them. They are about 20 minutes from me, but 100% worth the drive. We have been for a couples massage a few times and I have also been by myself. I've had hundreds of massages in my lifetime so I'm definitely not a novice when it comes to massages. My husband and I do couples massages together on a regular basis. I prefer a standard deep tissue massage over a Thai massage because in the past, I've felt generally uncomfortable with the lack of appropriate draping along with the weirdness factor of getting a massage on a bed that sits on the floor. Yet my husband loves Thai massages and insists on pushing me out of my comfort zone every so often. Therefore, we've visited many Thai massage places in the Clear Lake area. Today we visited Angel House Massage for the first time. I have to say that for the first time ever, I'm definitely open to trying it out again. The facility is the nicest I've been to in the area by far. It definitely has more of a spa-like feel... something that seemed a bit lacking in the others. The massage beds feel more like regular massage tables too. They are not on the floor (and are also a bit larger) which is a huge plus for me. They do have the bars overhead for doing traditional Thai massage techniques. When we completed our massage today, my husband announced that this was the best massage he's ever had. I won't say that, but I can rank it as my best Thai massage. So if you are looking for a place to try out Thai massage in the area, this is definitely one to check out. read more
