This restaurant specializes in so many types of pizza and it was a difficult choice amongst the three of us, which type of pizza would work for everyone. We voted and we all decided that pepperoni would be the best option for everyone. The restaurant is beautiful inside, but we ultimately decided just to have the pizza delivered to our office. There are other "good" pizza places in Mexico, however for me, Koony's beats them on all levels, atmosphere, food quality, service, etc. They are not cheap, however you get what you pay for. It is always a delight to run into the owners of the place (who understand customer service), and the staff is the best I have seen anywhere in Mexico (still the same staff as the first time I went). My favorites are the Tuna Special, and the Mexican Pizza, also their desert pizza (with a great cup of coffee) is a must try. Did I forget their special pasta salad? I've lived in Italy and I know what this type of pizza should be. However the rest of our meal, the salad, the salmon, the cheesecake, were all absolutely delicious, if smaller portions than we had at other restaurants. The waitstaff was professional and courteous. We would definitely go there again for a treat. But not for pizza!
