Pricing is a bit high, which shows by their overpacked clothing racks. If you have your prices too high, things pile up. I'm not a fan of places that mark prices with marker (in this case shoes). We got a handful of things, mostly because they had a special that day, and I will go back, but I'm sure I will never get all that much stuff here because of the overpacked racks being hard to sort through and the over pricing. The pool of tripping hazard piled around the checkout counter was off-putting. It was like they were sitting on a mound of hoarded items they were maybe processing. Then they had this huge candle burning away next to a stack of papers... seems safe. It was a bit rag-tag and in disarray. But, if you like thrift stores, it's worth a stop. They have a lot of stuff to dig around through. read more

This is the worst thrift store in Kansas City. We were treated very unfairly here. There are no bargains to be had here. Lots of junk. They don't honor their supposed discounts. So many great thrift stores in the Northland other than this one. read more

Posted 75% off for today on Facebook. We made a special trip north because of it. Then discovered that the man there today would not honor it. He claimed the woman that had posted the 75% off had left and they didn't know how to change it. Too bad. Just lost two good regular customers permanently. Hope he put the basket full of things we were going to buy away himself. Bad, bad business. read more

CAVEAT EMPTOR...BUYER BEWARE!!! I went to this shady, so-called faith-based store today (3/20/21), and was confronted with anything BUT Christ-like behavior! Now I was prompted to visit this place because I am an avid thrift store shopper, as well as an avid OfferUp shopper. Someone by the name of Jim is constantly posting items on OfferUp that appear very fairly priced at this very store. In fact, last evening he posted numerous items, including a set of white chairs that I was very interested in, for $29 each or best offer. I talked my cousin, who is also an avid thrift shopper, into joining me, and she had actually shopped at this store before. When we arrived, I saw another shopper there and we exchanged pleasantries, and then I went on a search for my chairs. I found the chairs, but they were marked $35.50 each, so I approached the counter and began to tell the woman behind the counter that I saw the chairs on OfferUp, to which she immediately exclaimed, "We are not on OfferUp!". I pulled up the OfferUp post, and said that Jim had posted these chairs on OfferUp, to which this same woman abruptly said, "Jim does not work here." Taken aback, I began to walk away when the other shopper I had spoken with earlier immediately came up to me and asked me what she said. When I told her what had been said, she told me that the woman had told her the very same thing, but that when she spoke to one of the guys from the back, he had actually told her that Jim owns the store. She had also come to the store because of some tables that Jim had posted on OfferUp as well, also cheaper than what was marked in the store. Now we both thought things were really starting to smell fishy at this point, so when we saw some other employees come from the back, we both addressed this issue with those employees. It turns out, most are volunteers and could not answer our questions, but they were going to go get an employee named Roger, as he had been there the longest. Roger was very nice, and so both myself, and the other shopper, told Roger that a guy name Jim was posting items on OfferUp at a lower price than what was in the store, and that the woman at the front counter said that Jim did not work here. Roger told both me and the other shopper that Jim was the owner, and that he would post these things without telling them. Ok...honest mistake, right? So Roger agreed to honor the price that Jim had posted on OfferUp, and said he would go tell the counter. Well, I thought this had cleared things up, and so I joined my cousin to shop for other things. But apparently the "shade" had not ended, as a VERY RUDE blonde woman walked by my cousin and me alongside Roger, said, "This is ridiculous!", and then eye-balled me. Just like Christ would, huh? Now, I am a very even-tempered individual, but I will not tolerate this kind of disrespect and belligerents, especially when one of the oldest employees in the store had just admitted that in fact Jim is not only associated with the store, but that he owned the establishment. So I once again addressed this new holier-than-thou employee, and told her that I was not there to be difficult, I was just asking that they honor a price that their owner himself posted as the asking price. Not done yet folks, cause she then proceeds to tell me that Jim is neither the owner, nor an employee. Y'all smell fish yet? Cause it gets better. I decided to message Jim on OfferUp, to explain to him what was happening at his store that very moment, and told him that because this woman was saying he was not associated with the store, I was going to report him to the OfferUp administrator. I immediately got a response from "Jim", but oddly enough, the woman behind the counter, had just finished typing something on her phone. I replied, and boom...she picked her phone back up. As her head was faced down looking at the phone, sure enough, she was on OfferUp, and she quickly put her phone down when she saw I was behind her. SCAM ALERT FOLKS! I have turned them into OfferUp, and I have also alerted the MO AG's office. read more

I love thrift stores and shopping for little things you might need or clothing that's a bargain. This place had amazing prices for their furniture section and some super cute clothes, both adult and child/baby. Their nicknacks are slightly lacking but overall it was a fun trip and the staff was awesome. I will for sure make this a regular stop! read more

This thrift store is awesome. They have daily sale specials offering 50% items depending on the day what items are on sale. They put the best of their donations on the sales floor. I LOVE THAT! Every day new items are going out on the racks and shelves. It's a volunteer staffed store, so be nice to the help, they are giving their time as volunteers!! Crissa is running the show here so I applaud all her hard work and dedication to dishing out the best you can get in this thrift store! Come in and check it out! I'm volunteering myself and they always welcome community service helpers too! read more

i have not shopped here yet but have donated. They had just opened and were pleasant to deal with. I will definitely go back to browse.
