My little girl has been attending ACLC since she was 12 weeks old, and we couldn't be happier. Of the 8 centers I toured, this one was instantly my favorite. It's bright, clean, and all the kids seem so happy. The teachers are so sweet, and it's clear my girl loves them. She can be fussing all morning, but as soon as she sees Rosalba, it's all smiles and giggles. It was hard getting started with the naps on demand- first she slept too much and now she doesn't sleep enough. She's very social and always on the move. They group 12wk- about 11mo when they're walking which is great. Some centers group 12wk- 18mo, and I worried about her getting stepped on. I called a lot of different daycares, it's surprising how many did not answer or call back and how many of them gave an attitude when they answered the phone. When I called Angels Care I initially spoke with Ms. Patricia, she was warm, heard how emotional I was to be sending my only child to daycare. She shared a story about her own children and shared that she too sent her children to Angels care. She and Isly gave me and my husband a tour, we met the Chef Esmalda, who was so kind. All the staff welcomed us, reminded me I could call anytime, and shared they too would call if something came up. My experience with Angels care has been incredible. My son has been at Angels Care and Learning Center since he was 3 months old and is now almost 3 years old. My daughter also started with Angels when she was 3 months old and is now 10 months old. We have loved our experience with them throughout the years. They navigated through the hard times of COVID providing safety and comfort to our children even though their routine and normalcy were changing rapidly. We have experienced different classrooms as my son has moved up through their programs and each transition was very smooth. The teachers we have had really care about the kids and work with them in a very loving way. The meals at their school are an experience we wish we had growing up with fresh meals made onsite and with love. They have crafts and other activities going on all of the time that we get to see in advance on their calendar. We also get cute projects sent home even when they are babies. The staff is kind, caring, and hosts a warm environment. Being a family with Angels has been a joy and we are happy to be a part of their community. read more

I had my son at Angels from 5 months to almost 2.5 yrs and we loved it! Owners and staff are all warm and amazing and showed my son so much love. My son learned a lot even at his young age! My daughter went to Angel's care since she was 3 months old to 17 months old. The care she received was great. She loved going to school every morning, she would run into the building and not even tell me bye. She came home with the cutest crafts and notes from her teachers. One of her first words was "agua". When I did have a concern the owners and staff were very helpful and responsive even through all the changes with COVID. They kept their doors open longer than most daycares in the area and as a working mom I am thankful for that. I would recommend them for caring for infants and toddlers as I can't speak on the older kids classrooms. read more

The Angel's Care and Learning Center family could not have been more kind, compassionate and professional in taking care of our infant daughter. Their flexibility, willingness to listen and learn more about the families (not just the children) really showed. Carina who heads up the infant room is truly amazing, she cares deeply for the kids (as they do for her) and is always willing to help implement family plans into her care (sleep, tummy time etc.) Angel's is a great value and centrally located for people commuting to downtown for work. I've been taking my 18 mo son to Angels care for about 6 months now. They have been so good, reliable, and sweet with him, and I really appreciate their focus on safety and transparency during the pandemic. The staff here is so wonderful, sweet, and caring with my son. It's great to see him excited to see them every morning and leaving with a smile on his face in the afternoons. They have also done a good job helping me understand what he needs to keep growing and learning - recently helping him learn to walk when I was getting worried that he might be falling behind on that. My son attended Angels for about 8 months. Everyone there is pretty friendly. I wish they were a bit more organized, and communicative.

My children have been in Angels Care for 3 plus years. I have a son who has special needs. They have been there through the whole process with my family. In the beginning, when he started in their care he had a colostomy bag and has had multiple surgeries and a lot of medical needs. As a single mother of three. This was IMPERATIVE to continue providing for my family. I also have a daughter there. Both of my children love the teachers and staff. One of the two will be ending her journey here at angel's care learning center and moving on to kindergarten elsewhere. I will be adding an additional little human to my family come November 2022 and he as well will be enrolled in the infant class in January 2023. If you are wanting a safe, family environment, where your children will have fun and learn at the same time... well THIS IS IT! Look no more. You will not be disappointed in your decision. read more

We were blessed to find Angel's Care and Learning Center. The caretakers are incredibly kind, which made it easier after returning from maternity leave, knowing that my baby would be in a loving environment. They also offer home cooked meals for breakfast and lunch. Each teacher knows all of the kids names and they're great at giving all children equal amounts of attention. We are so grateful our friends referred us here and now I'm happy to share them with others on the hunt for the right place to call home during the work week. Dawn, the director and Daniel, the owner, are genuinely great with kids! Plus, they encourage so much creativity from being a Spanish immersion program to arts and crafts. I love this place. This school is everything you are looking for and then some. It has all the benefits of a licensed child care center but also provides a very welcoming home like feel. All the teachers are amazing and friendly and greet you every day. They have a secured access door and a very convenient sign in and out system. The school is Spanish immersion and you can even hear little ones greet you in Spanish as you pass by their rooms. I personally have experience with the infant room and ms. Debbie is the best I've seen ( I've worked in childcare for over 9 years.) she is warm and loving and gets her babies on a schedule. The school is very accommodating to all your needs. Finally got the chance to write a review for this place. One of the best places for child care we've seen. We have toured others, and we can say, theirs might be small, family-owned and may look old but what you would see there are people who care.. like their name - Angel's care. As any child care places (even compared to the bigger ones), theirs isn't perfect, but one of the few we could say we trust. We are happy to see the improvements, the owner have always been very welcoming of suggestions for improvements etc. We are so happy that we found their daycare and enrolled our child here. The meals, curriculum, environment, amazing playground, and the people..we're happy and grateful! If it isn't for the distance,we would not plan of transferring our child. But yes, parents/guardians, do check this out. We will miss this place terribly! read more

This daycare beat every expectation we had when it came to caring for my 1 year old. My wife was a stay at home mom when she was randomly offered a great job at her previous place of employment. We had 1 week to find childcare for our 1 year old daughter which was way harder than we ever imagined. We live off S Lamar and quickly learned we wouldn't be able to find a daycare with immediate availability in our area. We toured dozens of child care centers north, west, east and south of us. Out of all the child care centers we toured this was the only one I immediately felt like they were a step above in truly caring for the kids in a fun atmosphere rather than a prison like system. You could tell that the kids were truly enjoying themselves and loved their teachers. We had a fairly high budget for childcare and it just so happened this place was the cheapest as well! Win win! On top of that, we felt so good about this place, I added 50 minutes to my drive time every morning driving from my house off Lamar to the daycare then back downtown to my office. Most people would think I was crazy but when it comes to caring for your kid and the peace of mind, totally worth it. Unfortunately, we had to make the difficult decision to enroll her in a private school downtown now that she's 18mo but would have totally stayed their if it weren't for the drive. Dawn, the director is unbelievably patient and caring and her teachers, Morgan and Cindy were utterly amazing. The owner, Daniel, who I saw practically every day has real passion for this place and you can really tell. Even the chef, Nora had a personal relationship with my daughter! If you want a family like atmosphere in a professional childcare setting for a price that's practically a steal, this is your place! Angels sure set the bar high for my daughters new school and teachers!! read more

We switched from a home-based daycare to this place several months ago, and we couldn't be happier with the decision. We pay $630/mth for a 16mth old, which is pretty cheap when we did our comparison shopping. While this place is older and is not especially organized (meaning a standardized curriculum, meal planning, etc), they seem to really care about the kids. The director, Nancy, has tons of experience in education, and is very involved in the day-to-day operation. I feel our kid is safe and well cared for, which are the only things I really care about. If you need a daycare, and don't want to pay a premium for one of the "higher-end" places, I highly recommend that you check this place out. read more

I can't say enough good things about this daycare. I did a lot of research and tried several daycares prior to this one. My almost 2 year old daughter has been going here for about 10 months now. I love all the teachers there. You can tell they truly care about and love the kids. I never feel like just a paycheck to them. My daughter loves being there so much that I usually try to run errands when I get off work before picking her up. The teachers really interact with the kids as well as teach them. She has learned how to do "more" in sign language, count to 10 in Spanish and she also knows most of her letters. The owner (Daniel) and director (Dawn) are both always around and very accommodating with any questions or concerns. They don't charge an arm and a leg with a bunch of hidden fees like most of the other daycares in the area do. Also they have locks on the front door which requires a code to get in which I love for safety. Not to mention they have an awesome playground for the kids. I am so grateful for them giving me peace of mind while I'm at work. I know my daughter is safe and loved. I would highly recommend them. read more
