Used Yelp recommended several mechanics, but Jeff responded first with an action plan and a reasonable price on how to resolve my problem. Brought it in, and Jeff sent me step-by-step texts or videos of the problems with solutions. Made a couple of suggestions, but overall my engine sounded smooth and in the absence of previous rackety noises. Thank you, Jeff. I then watched as he began watching a youtube tutorial on how to do it and taking her car apart.... 30 minutes into what was supposed to be 20 mins, I began looking for other window tint places in the area and found a place right around the corner who got started on my window tint right away! As soon as I left I was getting phone calls from jc's auto repair but I was already having my car serviced elsewhere. Didn't feel comfortable having my car done here anymore due to the lack of organization, lack of attention, and didn't like the way he stopped helping me (for what would have been a 30 min task) to help another customer who had showed up AFTER me and required a diagnostic and purchase of parts before even being able to begin her service ...... bad experience overall and would not come here or recommend to anyone

Most recently, I was dealing with a check-engine light while trying to get my Jeep ready for its required STAR smog test. Mike and Fred didn't simply replace parts based on a diagnostic code. They took the time to determine what was actually wrong before I spent the money. They diagnosed a failed EGR valve and also discovered a cracked spark plug that was affecting how the Jeep was running. They showed me what they found and explained everything clearly so I understood why the repairs were necessary. What I appreciate most is that Mike and Fred are thorough, knowledgeable and meticulous. Their prices have been fair, and I never feel as though they are trying to sell me repairs I don't need. Instead, I feel like they genuinely care about keeping my Jeep safe and running well. It is rare to find a mechanic you can really trust, especially when you have an older vehicle that needs extra attention. Most vehicles today are digital and a great benefit of that is receiving digital alerts on the dash board when something needs attention. My Honda Accord was alerting me to "Check charge system". I took my car to JT Mechanic and met with Lilly who handles billing. Once a mechanic went to check out my vehicle I pointed out the alert on the dash. Lilly explained that there would be a $200 charge for running a test and locating the problem within the charge system, and if I agreed to have them do the repair, then half of that fee would go towards the total cost. I was called the following day to let me know that the test was completed. When I arrived to speak with Lilly, I was told that something was wrong with the charge system. I asked if they located the problem and she said no, not yet. Then I asked "so why am I being charged if my car already told you what the problem was?" Her reply was "just trust your Mechanic and everything will be fine". I got burned by JT Mechanic!
