Our server, Chelsea, was genuinely great from start to finish attentive without hovering, friendly…read morewithout feeling forced, and she made sure everything flowed smoothly the whole night. The atmosphere at Woody's is really what makes it stand out. On a Friday or Saturday night, it's the kind of place that just comes alive--good energy, people having a great time, and a vibe that makes you want to stay longer than you planned. If you're looking for a spot to unwind, have some fun, and be taken care of by a great staff, this is definitely a place to check out

SO to start off we went on a Saturday afternoon in which its a new place and wanted to check it…read moreout. The girl who checked us in was cool but then it wall went downhill from there We went to our pool table and started playing, now the pros..nice clean place, lots of TV's and tables and pretty spacious but the service was horrible The wait staff as you can imagine were women in their 20s which that type of place is expected, but with young ppl like that come arrogance, attitudes and laziness, we waited about 30 minutes to even be approached for drinks and the girl that came up to us seemed like she didn't want to be there but did it anyway b/c she was forced, but before that, all the waitresses were gathered at the front registers and completely ignoring us, how do I know, b/c ALL of them looked me straight in the eye and turned their heads or walked away from us, I had to wave my hands in the air and look like a fool to even be seen, then finally we got "Service" from "Tasia" The food was cold by the time we got it, the drinks were cool but the place is a bit overpriced but for that type of place, not surprised, throughout the visit our waitress (and others) walked to everyone else but us, so we felt ignored, I would pull the race card since I WAS the only brother in there but it was a mixed race crowd and wait staff so I can't play that card All in all we felt ignored not just by Tasia but the other wait staff the food was mediocre and overpriced and not that this review matters b/c unless you're an adult that expects decent service when you go to an establishment like this and not a 20 year old kid who pretty much doesn't care..this isn't the place for adults. Whiskey River has better service. But at least I checked it out and now that I have..this place makes me miss living in Katy.

One of the few places in Houston that has snooker. Very rare to find a location with more than a…read morehandful of tables. Q Ball has 5 official Strachan snooker tables (used in official tournaments) that are consistently clean and well kept. Three 8 ft. Tables along with three 9 feet tables. Plenty of tables with plenty of space. Staff and owners are very friendly and will always be tentative. I was a stranger before but now, they made me feel like family. Rates: (per hour) 8$ - 8 ft. Tables 9$ - 9 ft. Tables 10$ - Snooker tables There is a special on a specific date that reduces table prices! *** Great Pros to keep in mind: - smoke friendly. Q ball allows customers to smoke inside the vicinity and also serve high quality seisha in a high quality hookah. ( brand: Khalil Mamoon) - clean tables with a nice atmosphere. - daily specials like cheaper hookah, wings, and alcohol. - Full bar that serves multiple types of liquor and cocktails. Cons: There are literally no cons besides 1 that cannot be changed due to the environment and that's the fact that the music is playing. Don't think that the store has bad music, i always i enjoy their music selection when I'm there, but snooker players play in complete silence and needs major concentration.

We visited Q to get a different experience from our usual club scene type place with pool tables…read morethat we usually visit (not to be named here). Q is a hole-in-the-wall pool hall with some nice pool and snooker tables, and a perpetual unfinished look. There were maybe 2-3 tables in various stages of build, and the owner worked a little on one of them right next to us while we were playing. They have most of what you might want to drink (mixed drinks, wine, beer), though I won't venture to call it a full bar. They also have food and hookah, but we didn't order either of these. The crowd was mostly Middle Easterners playing snooker, and we were the only ones there that didn't fit that description. Overall, this is a chill, laid back "joint" where you can just enjoy your game without the constant distractions of scantly clad waitresses, loud blaring music, and 100 TVs running sports. Just one recommendation: You don't have to switch the music to trap/hip hop when Black folks walk in. We recognize we're in your place and we adapt. Remember, we came here on purpose.

If you're looking for some up tight, server at your elbow type of place go somewhere else. However, if you're looking for some place cozy with nice people and yummy food then definitely try Nick's.

Luckily for you, I visited this place so you wouldn't have to!…read more I cringe at this place. Sticky tables and floors, dirty menus, dusty dishes and ceilings. Tiny bathrooms- can't get in and out without touching something. Our waitress was a few weeks in and tried her best. The fountain drinks were absolutely disgusting and needed to be recalibrated. I settled with the only bottled soft drink available to be safe, a root beer with 79 grams of sugar! The Bakers Special pizza was a greasy and sloppy mess and instantly fell apart just by looking at it. It had mondo chunks of meat that didn't pair well with the sauce. My husband recommended this place from his visit a few years ago but it clearly went downhill. It's an old dilapidated mess. Cushion chairs were 20+ years old with sticky stains and butt intentions on them. It was giving biker bar and made me very uncomfortable. I was afraid I'd get sick just being in the environment. The patrons were old, obnoxious perverts. Someone even brought their dog in there (not a service dog). I couldn't overlook it's condition and the food wasn't any better. There are definitely way better options on Westheimer. EEEEYUCK!
