This is an amazing place to shop if you want an easy way to help rescue pets. All proceeds go to support Animal Aid of Tulsa's mission to rescue sick and injured stray dogs and cats. They have such a great variety of things to buy and you can really find some treasures. There are lots of great vintage and antique items! Plus so many inexpensive household items and decor. Definitely check them out! They moved a couple of years ago and not everyone has rediscovered them at the new location so they can definitely use the support. I went in for advice on how to deal with a dog i found on the highway, and walked into a beautiful and festive store. The staff was extremely kind, compassionate, helpful and informative. Very Rude!!! Arrived at the store about a minute or two before they open open. The doors were open items were outside, so we proceeded to go in and got yelled at for coming in the shop because they weren't open yet. Don't leave your door open and have items outside on display if you're not. open . But you don't have to yell at your customers either. read more

Well organized and clean but way too pricy on most items. I spent $50 on glassware for my daughter's wedding here in 2014 and was thrilled that I had found such a great new thrift store. I didn't get to Tulsa that often but returned when I was in town. The store is small but you don't feel cramped or like you're going to break something if you sneeze. After moving to Tulsa in 2015 I returned to see what goodies I could find only to notice that the prices had skyrocketed! A glass dish I had bought at Goodwill earlier in the day for .50 was $6.00 there! I expect to pay more for quality items but not on everything. I'm so disappointed. Maybe changing their name to a "boutique" would be a better idea since the prices are more in line with a retail store. It is a great cause but unfortunately I will have to find another way to donate. After three chances and the prices still outrageous, I won't be back. read more

This is a great little shop run by animal aid. They have a variety of clothes, jewelry, housewares, and shoes in stock at great prices. I visited with my cousin today and was surprised to see all the items in stock. There were jewelry pieces in the original packages! The shopkeeper was very friendly and allowed me to look over the large amount of jewelry. She said that one whole case came from one donation! I picked out a pair of barely worn Lucky Brand shoes and some jewelry. If you are an animal lover, this is THE place to donate! And it's amazing how much merchandise they are able to stock in such a small space if you are shopping. Good deals abound...a few years ago I got about 10 years worth of replacement C9 bulbs for my Christmas lights for about a buck seventy! If you are looking for vintage glassware, this is also the place for you. There is a huge variety. If you follow them on Facebook, they also have sales all the time. They are often quite busy, so if you are out and about on a weekday, that would be my recommended time to visit, especially if you are bringing items to donate. This place makes my soul so happy! If you love thrift stores and animals, Animal Aid is the place to be. There are usually animals in their store (cats and dogs), and they have some pretty sweet deals! During a promotional period last year, I got a brand new London Fog coat for $7. It was magical. Definitely WONT be shopping here again... As if the prices for a thrift store aren't already massively jacked up. I bought a pair of shoes here, as soon as i got home and tried them on, the rubber heel of the shoe basically disintegrated and fell off. Called and asked if they did refunds to which she replied "No." My advice to this establishment is; If you're not going to accept refunds, maybe check the quality of the items you sell out of your store, BEFORE they go on the shelf and are sold to someone read more

I used to shop and donate frequently to this organization. Then I noticed they price their household items (gently used or not) the same, if not higher, what they would be at the store. Once I even asked them to price match the bamboo flatware organizer to the price it was going for brand new at the store, they wouldn't. They had a single serving blender with almost all the attachments, they were asking $5 more than the same brand new set at the local megastore. Out of everything I have seen and purchased from this place, I can't say any of those pieces were memorable, unique or out of the ordinary. hmmmm, let me think . . . .nope, nothing. Oh wait, I found an almost new pair of Sperry's for my sister @$28. Towards the end, I would come here hoping to be wooed to continue shopping here, but was disappointed enough to give up. Now I support children getting an education through the Assistance League of Tulsa & Operation Bell. The little thrift shop is well organized, I will give them that, but for merchandise that is basically outcast garage sale goods at best, it is overpriced and cluttered. The smell of cat in the clothing room is enough to make you turn around and walk out. There is a lot of nothing here. The best thing it has going for it is that it is for a good cause. For that reason alone, I rated it three stars. Reduce your prices and you will probably sell off some of the clutter so you can focus on better quality. read more

Very well kept. All animals here seemed healthy, happy and well cared for. When I was there they had a doggy door up because they allow some dogs to roam about the front area freely. I was there looking at cats and the worker really knew and cared about the animals. When I picked my cat up there was a 90lb mastiff/great dane puppy that ran up to me who was super sweet. read more

This is a nice little store for a wonderful purpose of saving animals. My daughter and I shopped here yesterday and purchased a few puzzles, toys, craft items, dvd's, and a couple of clothing items. Prices on these items were a little higher than they should be for a "thrift store" but I got a 25% senior discount being it was Monday. Knowing the money is going to aid dogs and cats makes me feel better about paying their prices but, I do think they need to consider lowering prices on a lot of things so that the store would be a true "thrift store". When people shop at thrift stores they are looking for money saving bargains otherwise they would go to retail stores. I will still donate item's to Animal Aid Thrift store and I still shop on days that I can get a discount. read more

One of my favorites!! Always great stuff, impeccably clean and affordably priced! They have high end stuff and not so high end, but it is ALWAYS clean and neatly arranged! Their sales are AMAZING! One of the best things about the store is the furry staff members. Some might not want to cuddle, but if you are having a tough day they always let you know they care. I really like this store and definitely support their animal aid mission. I have donated a lot of items here over the years and I am pleased to see it seems to be thriving. It is small, well organized, and a cut above the standard thrift shop yet still cheaper than most higher end consignment shops, while offering a lot of similar nice and name brand goods. However, with all of these things said, they lose a star from me on pricing. I just think a lot of items in the store are priced a few dollars above where they need to be for midtown Tulsa shoppers and would like to see that come down a little bit so that it would be more reasonable and perhaps items would move out the doors more quickly. I think it is a bad sign for a charity thrift shop when I continually see ten dollar items that I feel are worth five bucks and they're there two or three months later, marked down only slightly. read more

ArWha2d on a wednesday at 4:42. They supposedly close at 5:00pm. I had rushed from work to get there with what I thought was 15 minutes to shop. When I walked in the lady abruptly said I had 5 minutes! So I walked over to the clothes area and hadnt even looked at one item when a younger lady approached me and said they were closed and had to leave. I pulled out my cell phone to get the time and it was only 4:46! I showed her the time and she rudely said "well we go by OUR clocks here". What the heck does that even mean? Get some accurate clocks! Will never go out of my way to shop here again. First impressions are everything and im sorry to say that I am disgusted at how I was treated. Its too bad because I love supporting good causes. read more

Pretty terrible. I have had one experience and plan no more. I purchased a rather simple (used) kitchen appliance. It was explicitly conveyed that it was in working order. The price was mediocre at best, but I had been looking at buying the same model (new) and figured I may as well save a few bucks. I bought it and was dejected on the first use that it didn't work. I called the store and was told there was nothing they could do (apparently this includes conveying the correct working status). After quite the runaround they agreed they could offer a store credit but no more. What they failed to convey over the phone is that there would be entirely arbitrary time restrictions placed on credit as well as an arbitrary percentage lost. They assured me they could do nothing more. I was reminded by several employees/volunteers that the manager was being very kind to me that she usually doesn't do this. And, of course there was the trusted fall back of "we are a non-profit, we can't..." Just because an organization is a charity or non-profit does not mean that they can act with impunity. read more
