I bought a dining table and 2 sets of chairs from Scott at the Vintage Vault. Buying site unseen can be a little scary but Scott was super helpful - even making a recommendation after I described what I was looking for. The furniture was as described and pictured and Scott actively pointed out any flaws (they were so minor I would not have noticed) in advance to make sure there were no surprises. Well add this to my no go list Twice previously a few months ago we were in Tulsa. We tried to go to this store to actually view some things, and they were closed when they were supposed to be open. And then about a month later, we did the same thing and again they were closed. They keep hours very sporadically. Now Scott. the owner also maintains an Etsy store and I assume probably one on Istgrift too as well given his price structure. He also maintains a website. . So I messaged him on his website directly about a certain piece that I wanted that was the exact dimensions that I needed. He really had no interest in helping me. I said what is your price with shipping and I did not ask for a discount. He says I'm not currently discounting THAT piece and shipping to Fort Worth will be $390 plus tax. And I was like well then I consider coming up to pick it up if it is in your store ?.. no it's in storage. $1700. I guess it's not a big enough sale for this guy. But after reading the reviews in here and how he denied a girl in a wheelchair access to his store, I think the guy is an A1 A hole. I'd skip this one. And I certainly wouldn't make the drive a third time from Fort Worth to go see him. read more

We walked in and saw a lot of really nice MCM items but felt a little "followed" as every time we looked up, the same man was no less than 7 or 8 feet away and watching us (assuming an employee as he didn't really say anything). The prices? Just too expensive! read more

My daughter is in a wheelchair. On June the 9th she and I along with a few other family members went in to the Vintage Vault. It was about 3 or 4:00. The owner said to my daughter "Hey, you can't come in here rolling around". We were shocked. I told him that's illegal. He couldn't deny my daughter. He said" This is my store and I have expensive things in here." We had to leave. What he did is against local, state and federal laws. My daughter has never been kicked out of a place of business. read more

We purchased 2 chairs, an end table, and a lovely cat statue on Black Friday. We had been in before a few times trying to decide what we couldn't live without, thus the cat statue. I am reviewing Vintage Vault not as a buyer but as a seller. My parents purchased a two level credenza when we lived in Europe in the 1960s. It was loved by my mother and became a family treasure. It came with us when we returned to Oklahoma and held a special place in our home ever since. When my mother passed away in 2011, I had to put it into storage and there it sat for the past twelve years. I knew my mother would not be happy with her treasure shut away in storage. I desperately wanted another family to love and care for this important part of my family's life. Thank goodness for Scott Nichols and Vintage Vault. I contacted him and sent photos of the credenza then made arrangements to meet when I was able to return to Tulsa from overseas. Scott came out to the storage unit and informed me that my asking price too low. He even informed me that I could get even more for it if I tried different avenues. When I heard Scott's honesty, I knew I had chosen the right person to intrust with my family treasure. I accepted his fair terms and was happy that I had found a person who would bring the beauty back to the credenza and find a new family to treasure it as my family had done for sixty plus years. Now, when I think of Vintage Vault and Scott Nichols the one word that comes to mind is honesty. I am so glad that I was able to do business with him. read more

I ran in here real quick as I left the TU bookstore just to see what the store had... This store was very vintage but seemed bare... They had all sorts of unique vintage finds from chairs to decorative accessories to bags to even vintage baby clothes hanging up.. when I was in there they had people that what looked like doing embroidery there were 2 different stations set up with vendors... I visited this store today. It's very clean, neat, and organized inside. I will say though, I was not impressed with the service. The man (I'm assuming the owner) was not interested in helping me at all. I wonder if he would've been friendlier if I had come in looking like I had some money to spend. I came in wearing my lazy Saturday sweats. I left here, and went to Retro Den down the street and had a MUCH better experience and purchased a few things. read more

Great vintage store! Best curated vinyl selection I've ever seen. The furniture is all quality pieces and the owner knows his stuff. Don't be put off by his lack of interest in you. Buyer beware! They have an interesting selection, but at what cost? We bought an antique dress for $50, which I thought was steep. Unbeknownst to us, as the girl was checking us out, she took the belt that was on the dress. She had mentioned her own eBay store for vintage clothing, so I suspect she was going to use it for a garment there. High prices and dishonest workers. No thanks. read more

Wow! What a cool store! There were vintage clothing, cool knickknacks, but the stars of the store are the various furniture pieces. I'm no expert by any means, but the quality and condition of the furniture were excellent. Some seemed retro while others seemed more mid-century modern. Whichever era they were from, they were all cool. read more
