I was not asked any information about my dog aside from his name and if he took medication. There was no place to fill in feeding information, and I had to inform the girl working that I had brought food for him and when and how much he eats. I was not allowed to see the facilities where he would be staying, was not informed if he would have time with other dogs. I shouldn't have left him in the first place, but I did. When I picked him up was given no information about how his stay was, if he'd had any problems, etc. He smelled like he'd had an accident in his kennel and been wiped down (?) and seemed very agitated. I had brought toys and an old sweater of my husbands for comfort in his kennel while we were away, when I picked him up they were still in the bag with no indication that they had been given to him. I imagine he spent the entire time in boarding alone, as well, but I wouldn't know since no one working offered me any information. Overall it was a pretty typical boarding experience from what I've seen with my other dogs in the past, but the thing that it lacked was any customer service, personal care or consideration for the dog or dog owner. At least PRETEND to care about me and my dog when I drop him off. Will not be returning.

They provided shampoo and conditioner, apron, brushes, treats, towels, cologne, and leash loops on the floor and in the tub. There was also a big dryer with multiple attachments. The front desk employee was friendly and enthusiastic about showing me how to use everything. This was $15 per 20-min slot. I ended up paying $45 for an hour and a half (it took me 1 hr to blow dry my doodle). It was my first time ever grooming the pup on my own as a doodle can be very labor intensive, but Sit Pretty made it very easy for me to do it and helped me out every time I had a question.

My sister's goofy Golden Retriever Bess enjoyed her time in the country like only she could! She ran off one morning only to return absolutely covered in mud with a good deal of prickly vegetation tangled in her long coat. She also smelled like she rolled around with a dead animal which is actually one of her favorite past times and was crawling with nasty ticks. I tried to help her as much as I possibly could,but after a few minutes,it was clear I needed help from a professional. So, I used my phone to locate the nearest groomer and really lucked out finding this place. They were busy,but agreed to help me on very short notice. Bess took to these people right away and emerged squeaky clean,smelling good with no ticks or prickly things in her fur. However, I didn't realize until I got the dog in the car how badly his grooming looked. He has some patches of hair that are longer than others. In particular on his rear back area above right back leg. Also, his ears were cut all choppy instead of leaving the hair one length and just trimming the ends. He also has a tuft of hair on top of his head that is longer. I will have to fix this up myself. I don't know if this was done because of my last review or just the groomer having a bad day. I hope this is not done to my poor little puppy again. I hate to put him through the process of grooming and then have to go through it again when I get him home.
