Animalance RVA is Virginia’s first and only pet ambulance, providing compassionate, medically informed transport for pets when they need support the most. Founded by Becky Lacy, a veterinary nurse with more than 20 years of experience in emergency and specialty care, Animalance was created to bridge the gap between home and the hospital with comfort, safety, and compassionate care. We specialize in emergency and specialty transport including oxygen support, mobility assistance, hospice and euthanasia support, post surgical transport, and transfers between veterinary hospitals. We also offer scheduled transport for routine veterinary appointments and other pet care needs. Our ambulance is equipped with oxygen support, stretchers, gurneys, ramps, slings, kennels, and other transport equipment designed specifically for pets. What truly makes us different is the level of care and emotional support we provide to both pets and their people during stressful moments.
