We hired Anita (& Alexis) to paint our downstairs interior. The initial consultation went really well and we felt like we didn't need to look any further. Anita showed up at 8:00 AM every day and Alexis joined her a little later. They finished everything in about four days and we couldn't be happier! This house has very high ceilings in the living room (as well as a peak) and Anita did a beautiful job! All the lines are crisp, the coverage is thorough. She is an absolute perfectionist and loves what she does and it shows! Anita is friendly, absolutely transparent, up front and honest. Her prices are fair as well. She and Alexis were also very mindful of our three cats and made sure that they didn't slip out when doors were opened. Wallpaper removal-Texture-Painting!! Simple amazing work from the start. Anita was right on time when she was appraising the job and on time every morning during the project until completed. Two bathrooms need 30 year old wallpaper removed, walls textured and painted (difficult project). Both bathrooms looked better than when they brand new! Anita is absolutely incredible! In a long lifetime of hiring painters I have never met one who is so organized, efficient and talented as she is! Her work is superb. The painting is all done by hand and is crisp and precise. I was astounded by how fast she is. She painted 2 rooms in the time that most painters would still be getting their brushes ready. And there is no mess or even a sign, other than beautiful fresh new paint, that a painter was there! She carefully prepares the area and paint surfaces and leaves absolutely no clean-up needed. It is very apparent that she takes great pride in her work. And her prices are so reasonable, especially for the quality. She is easy to schedule, keeps you informed of status, is responsive to messages and calls and does what she says she will on time for the price quoted! I can't say enough wonderful things about her. We recently had Anita paint our entire house -- inside and out. She was a pleasure to work with from the start: she responded quickly to our inquiry; she spent a long time answering our questions, and asking questions herself, making sure of what we wanted. We were a bit unsure of colors and paint quality, and her experience helped us through that process. She has a good eye and a good aesthetic. Her estimates were reasonable. Once work began she and Alexis went out of their way to accommodate our needs and schedule. (Their flexibility allowed us to get in a bit of minor carpentry work.) They were extremely skillful and neat, and at the end of every day, tidied things up. The interior of our house involves a fair amount of detail work, and this is where Anita shines: she's magic (magic!) with a brush and has an eye for detail that others might miss. Anita and Alexis painted the walls of seven rooms in our house and removed wallpaper and retextured the walls in three of them. They also painted our kitchen cabinets. They did a meticulous job throughout, and we couldn't be happier with the way the everything turned out. Anita repaired any imperfections she found in the walls, caulked where there were gaps between the molding and walls, and took great care on edging along corners. We had several rooms with high walls and ceilings and with some unusual wall features that she handled with ease and precision. She provided helpful recommendations on choosing paint types. Since Anita and Alexis do all the work themselves and since my partner and I work from home, we spent a lot of time with them. They were very easy-going, friendly, and unobtrusive. Throughout the project she frequently checked in with us to review her work and to make sure we liked how it was proceeding. The rates for their work were also very reasonable, and Anita passed on her 40% discount on paint to us. Anita painted all the floor moldings in several large areas after we replaced the carpeting. She did all of the work by hand, fixing areas that I didn't even notice needed a touch-up. Even adding filler as needed on the gaps between the wood and walls. Didn't ask her to do, she didn't like the way it was done and fixed it. That's good customer service! She arrived on time, cleaned up after every visit (took a few days) Did a very professional job. I contacted several painters for quotes and Anita was the most responsive and gave us a very fair price. We weren't expecting to be able to afford painting our entire exterior and initially asked for a quote for just our trim and gutters, but Anita made it work for us and did a wonderful job. She kept us informed throughout the entire process and we always knew when she was going to show up. She took her time to make sure she was getting the job done right and was even able to repair some trim that we needed fixed. When Anita finished the project she had me do a walk-through to make sure she got everything and even offered to come back for touch-ups if we noticed anything in the future.
