We were met by a very nice gentleman who took his time to explain what they have in his shop when we visited. They have an excellent selection of jewelry, watches, gifts and decorative items in order to even satisfy your unique interests perhaps even outside the mainstream pursuits. It was explained to me that five artisans co-operate taking turn to man this retail shop. It offers pretty wide variety of hand-crafted items from painted art to jewelry, ceramics to fabricated metal ornaments and signages. For those signages your knowledge of German is a must (or perhaps good translator) since all the sayings are in German. I couldn't tell what they said beyond "Willkommen" and "Liebe." I think this establishment has a lot to offer for everyone's taste and interests. I'm sort of surprised that there was no review written before. I hope more people will come here and try to see if they can find something. Good hunting!! P.S. Store hours are somewhat limited: MON, TUE, WED, 1400-1800; THU, FRI, 1000-1800; SAT 1000-1300. Oh well, those artists have to produce their merchandise and cannot run the store all the time!?

Tiny alleyways,…read morecobbled streets, a lazy atmosphere, small stores and markets everywhere, and ivy covering the original buildings and city walls, this place cannot be beat in quaintness. The city center (or marktplatz) is a perfect place to sit at cafe, have a beer, and grab a pretzel. I would highly recommend!

The entire store of course is clean and tidy as most stores are in Germany, staff are friendly with greetings and such. The main issue though is as mentioned above is the lack of selection. Small assortment of cheese and meat products. The produce section also lacked in a lot of items. I don't tend to be picky when I go to stores for general groceries but this place with its low variety makes me not inclined to return. A plus though is they are the only store chainI know in Germany that have Relish. I'm a huge hotdog fan and having my own relish is like a dream come true. Only reason I'll be going to this Aldi is if I'm low on relish. Or Coca-Cola but otherwise, I'd pass.
