As were the assistants and hygienists I encountered. A couple added bonus points: the layout is more like individual rooms/better privacy for your appt + I never felt like staff were rushed, so it did not have that assembly-line feel like some dental offices do.

I dare say that I actually had a good time at the dentist for the first time in my life. I typically have a lot of anxiety going to the dentist, But not this one. Dr. Foreman is so nice and even did my first teeth cleaning! During covid, Melrose Dental handled everything really well. The safety of their clients was obvious as I felt very safe. I also got a reminder e-mail from the clinic that I should go in for more dental work to take advantage of the full insurance allocation for the fiscal year - or something to that effect. I don't approach dental care with such a financial gain perspective nor of going after work you don't really need simply to maximize your benefits out. Rather, I would prefer to get the work done that I need without doing excessive work or adding on a host of additional services that aren't actually essential or really needed. Having said that, Dr. Nowysz and her team are always extremely nice and friendly. She was great with my kids and I had a positive dental exam the one time I did see her. She also does charitable work for free in Latin America routinely and I have a huge amount of respect for that and her voluntary spirit. So I would recommend her, but be firm in saying "no" if you get the impression she is proposing additional things you don't actually need or perhaps get the feeling she is exaggerating an issue that might not be as intensive as she suggested (she had a high priority treatment my daughter needed which I declined as we were traveling and two years later my daughter's teeth are just fine, no issues so obviously the treatment wasn't that critical or urgent).
