My husband and I have been regulars at Ann of Siam since 2014. We go biweekly for the most amazing 90-minute reflexology foot massages I've ever had! Personally, I prefer foot massages over full-body massages. I initially found Ann when I heard that reflexology foot massages could help heal my eight-month-long plantar fasciitis pain. After five or six visits, my plantar fasciitis pain completely disappeared, and I've kept going biweekly to prevent it from ever coming back. (Spoiler alert - foot massages have prevented any recurrence!) Since reflexology worked so well on me, my husband started getting regular foot massages himself. He used to have foot pain from running, and his pain disappeared as well. He's now into walking--rather than running--and Ann's foot massages have kept him pain-free. Ann is the best reflexologist, and her foot massages never cause me pain. Her new location off Zion Avenue is cozy and comfortable. We'll continue going as long as she remains in business! read more

I recently had the pleasure of having a reflexology service from Ann. It was incredibly relaxing, I almost fell asleep. Ann has a cute space and you lie back and relax in the recliner while she massages your feet with her hands and a little wooden stick. It was not painful in the least but was so soothing to my feet-which I stand on a lot at my job. Reflexology is defined as "a system of massage used to relieve tension and treat illness, based on the theory that there are reflex points on the feet, hands and head linked to every part of the body". Ann focuses on your feet reflex points and I was in an almost trance-like state when I left. It was definitely worth the drive from Charlotte. I have another appointment scheduled with her in 2 days! While visiting family in Huntersville I was in need of a treatment due to sore feet. I was able to make an appointment with Ann in short order and I was certainly glad I did. Generally I enjoy a foot massage but Ann is a licensed specialist with excellent technique so my time with her was amazing! I believe Ann uses the true Reflexology technique which stimulates the nerves in the foot, doing so gently and not painfully. The setting is very relaxing and Ann was very accommodating. I feel like everyone takes their feet for granted. Not me! I love my feet and treat them well and always to a great foot massage and reflexology. After all they are tied to the functioning of every organ in our body. I've always waited to get my feet done when I went up to NYC every several months.
