It was just alright. Folks are friendly enough here but note this before going: the inventory is mostly hippy-dippy styles for teens to mid-20's. If that's not your style, you'll be disappointed. No housewares and no vintage coolness. Not much in terms of jewelry /accessories aside from leather and beads. Lots of printed tshirts though. read more

I was exploring downtown Boone while waiting for my brunch table to be ready and popped into Anna Bananas. This shop is soooo cute and filled with a thrifters dream. I've always wanted a teddy coat, but have never bought one because I live in Miami. However, enter this cute little coat I spotted on the rack that is now my new fave purchase of 2025. The coat was just $16, and if you do a little dance at check out they give you 10% off. Say less, I did my little dance and walked out of there with a purchase under $15 that I've already worn 3 times! They have a good variety of nice outfits, casual ware, accessories and shoes as well. The staff was also super friendly. I wish we had one of these shops in my neighborhood, but would def go back when visiting Boone. read more

My friend and I were visiting the store tonight looking for something to do waiting for our dinner reservation in town. We walked in and looked through the front store, found nothing, but were greeted with warm employees. Then we went to the back where we also didnt find anything. My friend found a pin she was debating on but ended leaving behind. as we walked out the employee working the back asked us if we didnt want that pin anymore and that hes asking because he has "gotten in trouble for those things before" to which my friend responded that she had put back the pin (she did). I was shocked and taken aback how she and I were accused of stealing something from a store we frequented plenty of times during our time at App. We are paying customers and would never steal from a local business. This is such a fun consignment shop. The girl working here was so extremely friendly, too. They are known for their 10% discount if you dance. I don't know how you couldn't dance when you walk in cause the music is poppin. They have great items at a decent price and all different sizes. Super cute! read more

Love this little shop, we stop in every-time we're in Boone! They have good selection of contemporary garments with some cool vintage pieces sprinkled in. Last time I was able to go (about two weeks ago) they had a pretty good selection of Patagonia jackets for sale. Most of the prices are pretty close to eBay sold comps, so maybe not the best place to go if you're looking for thrift shop deals, but there are definitely some steals to be found if you dig long enough. All in all a great stop if you're looking to pick up some trendy pre-owned garments at a fairly reasonable price. P.S. Don't forget to dance at checkout for an extra 10% off! read more

Overpriced, not really a thrift store when prices are $10+ for everything. I think the purpose of thrift stores is to find good quality items for a steal since they were donated in the first place. How are you going to charge $40 for jackets you got for free? Crazy. read more

She asked if we had ever been in, we replied that we hadn't, and then she informed us that we could get a 10% discount on anything in the store if we danced. Anna Bananas Fine Consignment on King Street in Boone is a great place to find quality consignment clothing at great prices. I really like the vibe and atmosphere of this store as it is very cool, unique, and laid back. I was able to find some really good clothes at a good value and was very happy with my purchases. I was even able to dance for a ten percent discount which is something that I was not able to do in any other store I have ever been in before. The staff at Anna Bananas are very friendly and helpful and really added to the shopping experience. I had a good time shopping here and look forward to being able to come back here again in the future to find some more good deals on clothes. read more

I love this store! The employees were very nice and chill, they made it feel like you were old friends who hadn't seen each other in a while. The clothing there was a good selection, I would say mostly for young adults because I would guess that most of their clothes are from college students cleaning out their dorms. The clothes aren't as cheap as some other thrift stores, but because of the organization and customer service provided, it was worth it. I got a shirt for about $12 and shorts for about $16. The staff are always friendly and ask if you need anything. Most of the clothes are in really good condition and are are pretty good prices. There's more women's stuff than men's, but men's area still has a good selection of stuff. Every time I go there, there's always something new! read more
