The food is delicious there and I really enjoyed it. The problem is bad communication. They made my order to go and when I opened up my Mozzarella sticks they were burnt!' I am dissatisfied with the way the food was prepared and given to me for delivery. I have reached out to Annabelle's and was told I should have looked at it before leaving the pizzeria . I had it delivered and that option was unavailable. I talked on the phone and was humiliated to hear them laughing like it was a joke, that was the first time I tried to get a refund of the food I purchased. I decided to give them another chance, and I ordered a large pie and two orders of mozzarella sticks that I received burnt unable to chew. First time I stopped in and asked if they had Sicilian, wanted a slice, he told me they don't make it anymore, fine I just got a reg slice, not so good, and I knew I was not going to pizza there again. 2nd time I went I ordered a Philly cheesesteak sandwich, it was fantastic! Today, my 3rd time going, I jokingly asked for a Sicilian slice, knowing he doesn't have it, (sorry! I was in a good mood) he was sitting and shot me look and suggested "the guy on the corner sells that, go there." I told him I was joking and ordered a turkey sub with lettuce, tomatoes, mayo and vinegar, no oil. I was talking with the young cashier who was delightful! But he, the owner I guess, was not. I paid and left. I got home, put my sandwich in the fridge to eat later, about an hour or so, I get it out, start slicing it into 4 pieces, then I noticed the smell, I tasted it and turned out to be tuna. Thank goodness I'm not allergic to seafood. Not realizing the time when I called them, but it was close to 6pm, I told them they gave me tuna instead of turkey, the young cashier apologized and asked me if I wanted to return it for a turkey sub, I explained I already stuck my finger in it to taste it. She put "him" on the phone. I told him, he said, "oh, I was far away and didn't hear you," (he was sitting right next to the cashier by the front counter. I told him and he said, "What do you want me do, I'm busy now!" I had to repeat myself 3 times and said, "thank God I'm not allergic but just wanted you to know that, in case it happens to someone who is."..."what do you want?!" What do you want me to do? I'm busy!" I repeated it ONE MORE TIME, then hung up. He didn't apologize, didn't offer a turkey sub, he just got angry. Granted, the tuna sub tasted good but with his attitude, I will never step foot in his business again. That is not how you take care of your customers. What he should've done was said "sorry, come on in and I'll make you a turkey sub". No restaurant ever, has asked to return something in exchange for what I ordered, and I've worked in restaurants for 22 years. read more

I'd recommend this place if you like raw pizza dough. Or overpaying for horrible food. We ate in once and paid over 65$ for 2 dinners, 2 slices of pizza and a cannoli. When I first moved here 3 years ago this place was great. The pizza was good the food was even better. The past year this place has gone down hill. The two owners (Fernando and Marly) should really reconsider how they run this place. When Marly was making the pizza this place was good. Since Fernando took over it is terrible. Everyone I have spoken to says the same thing so I am glad I was not just overreacting. Fernando is very rude to customers. (He used to work in the back, they need to put him back there. Away from customers). I have witnessed on many occasions people have a minor complaint and he will curse them out and tell them to go elsewhere. I am amazed at how horrible this place has become. My daughter and I used to love coming here (my daughter who is also friends with their son) but they will not see me again. The people behind the counter, the waitresses, are awesome. But Fernando does not know how to speak to them. He is mean and nasty to the waitresses, WITH customers there. This place will not last if they don't bring Marly back. Every time I go in another waitress is gone. With the way he speaks to them I am not surprised. In Fernando's words "there are many pizzerias around go to one of them". Years ago I was a fan. Was the best place in the area in my opinion. BUT, it has severely gone downhill. The chicken wings had feathers in them. The pizza is very blah. Not impressed anymore. I order from Annabel Pizza on a regular basis. The pizza is fairly priced. My favorite is the pepperoni and fresh garlic pizza, and my daughters always get the cheese pizza, both are really well done! I have never dinned in, so I can not comment on that experience, however it seems clean when I have ran in to grab my food. The staff is friendly, pleasant, and all have great phone manors. I've seen the owner a few times outside the store and he always has a smile on his face. The delivery drivers are clean, professional, and timely. My only thing I would love to see change is for them to do on-line ordering. read more

Well I tried my luck again to no avail. I ordered a sausage, peppers and onions hot sub take out. The sandwich, although fresh and prepared well, was not the same taste that I'm used to in a good Italian of the same name. The sausage was thin slices of a tasteless mixture of grey meat. The portion of meat was not what you would expect when it's called a sausage sub. It was mostly onions and peppers. I really enjoy the food at Annabel Pizza. All of their dinners are excellent and well prepared. The chicken francese is pounded thin and the sauce is perfect (The portions are also quite large). Their Chicken Tortellini soup is a winner as well. The eggplant rollentini is some of the best around as is their fried calamari. Their regular pizza is about average, though their sicilian pie is excellent. The sandwiches are great (great variety too!). Overall I love this place and I'm sad to see there aren't more reviews on here for them. read more

I lived in wantage for four years , I order from them frequently however after this past Friday they will no longer have me as a patron , my daughter and 3 year old son was waiting for me inside because I was running late to pick them up , I told her wait in the restaurant I'll be five minutes, they told her she had to buy something or leave , she said my mom is five minutes away , may I add she was standing to the side not in anyone's way , my daughter said they told her we are busy tonight so you have to purchase something or leave , to put a 3 year old and a teenager out in the cold and dark is just rude and inconsiderate the owner has a small son and has him sit at a table all the time hence the spongebob on all the time , well my daughter purchased a water and drink as I pulled up to get them, that will be the last of my money they will ever see . Regular pizza is ok, nothing to write home about. However they do have a few specialty pies that are really good including the four cheese, and taco pizza. Apps can be hit or miss, but they do consistently make amazing wings, BBQ and buffalo. Not your typical messy wings where you need a pile of napkins to get through it, crispy but not dried out. My main complaint is the prices. Very expensive for a pizza place. If you want delivery you might want to consider takin out a loan. Typical bill for delivery for 2 items comes to more than a sit down dinner at a decent diner... for 2...with a generous tip. read more

Visiting NJ for a few months and were looking for pizza. Locals suggested Annabel's as a good but pricey pizza place. (I should mention we have been looking for a NY pizza experience) I chanced a slice of the Supreme but it was tasteless except for the green peppers. I am not a person who walks away from pizza but I left this on the table. Spouse had a pepperoni slice and he commented it was tasteless but greasy. Guess I am still looking. We ordered for delivery twice and both times it was perfect! 1/2 pepperoni and 1/2 vegetable. We taste the love and care they put into it. The choice of vegetables was just the way I love it and enough for a great balance. The crust was very crusty too! Great job well done. We don't care for the other local places because they were inconsistent and just ughhh! so please Annabel don't change anything! We'll be checking it out for dinner there! read more
