We particularly love the jazz events, as we are passionate about all forms of art and music. Everyone at the gallery has made us feel very welcome as we settle into the area. While we haven't yet been able to take full advantage of everything the Gallery offers, we look forward to attending workshops, classes, and special events, once we are more 'planted'. And of course we will continue enjoying the Art when we visit, and purchasing the works when we are able. There truly is something for everyone at Sunset River Gallery, and I highly recommend the experience to anyone. This store is a nice touch! However, be aware of the lady working at the jewelry section. She isn't very nice and takes away from the welcoming feel. Hopefully she was just having a bad day and is much better now. I won't reflect this in my rating of the store, because every business has a bad hire that slips through occasionally. The photographer (Forrest) and the assistant did a fantastic job organizing everyone, and getting the kids to stay still! And the photos turned out wonderfully, and were available to view online by the next day. Plus, he even reached out to us ahead of time to see if we could arrive early due to the potential for rain ruining the photo shoot at the time we had originally scheduled. We haven't order any photos yet (but we do plan to order a lot since they are so good) so I can't yet comment on the pricing of prints.
