Our unit came with a fully equipped kitchen (including a dishwasher), a washer dryer and even a whirlpool bathtub. Our room was quaintly decorated and the bed very comfortable. We loved having breakfast on the side patio and Greg and Belinda even supplied us with a bbq for our month long stay. We received excellent value for our stay. We made sure to explore the local walking paths and swam in the pool daily. We also enjoyed beachcombing and the playground daily but the true icing on the cake were Greg and Belinda. They were incredibly helpful and friendly to make sure we got to enjoy all the local hidden treasures of Smiths Cove and the surrounding areas.

She was energetic and had great information about our "tour of death and destruction " in the Halifax area. She used a microphone so everyone inside the van was able to hear her. The van was not over crowded. She had a play a fun game too. We had a great Lobster Roll lunch at a local restaurant. We learned about the history of the area. Every about the tour was excellent. I would highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Halifax for the first time.

The fairways and bunkers are in horrible condition. No grass. Hard dried mud on every fairway and bunker complex. Tee decks are not maintained. Stanley Thompson would be so disappointed in how poorly maintained his course is. Avoid as there are are far better golf courses in the area

We were in the Carriage House behind the main building, which was like a small apartment with two bathrooms, a living room and a bedroom. Others in our group spoke highly of the historic main building. Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet (except for the morning serenade from local songbirds). The breakfasts were delicious and the host-made scones were the best I've ever had. It was located not far from town, and we were able to walk to local establishments during our stay. Not sure when I'll make it back to Annapolis Royal, but when I do I'm staying at Queen Anne.

First order diagnosis was done in five minutes and a plumber was on site within 45 minutes on a Saturday morning. We had hot water in half an hour. Every business has issues. The mark of a great business is how they deal with them while preserving the customer experience. The owners Kate and Lazlow at Queen Anne Inn clearly put the customer first. Kate makes breakfast while Lazlow serves. On busy days they have extra help. The owners make sure the quality is maintained. Breakfast menus the two days we were there started with a scone, a yogurt parfait or berry smoothie (lots of berries in season while we were there), and a choice of two mains. The Belgian waffle and the savory crepe we ate were excellent. Wherever Kate learned to cook it worked. The public rooms in the main building are lovely. In addition to the two interconnected dining rooms there are two separate sitting rooms. The furnishings are at once elegant and comfortable. We stayed in the cottage behind the main building with an upstairs bedroom and a downstairs living room. Again, nicely furnished and very comfortable. Regardless of the season Queen Anne Inn is a welcoming and comfortable place to stay in Annapolis Royal NS.

Perched upon the banks of Bear River, you get to absorb the beautiful tidal scene as the water level rise and drop, and rise again! The tide brings in the Herings and during low tide a pack of deer performers a crossing. We tented, but the cottages were nice and almost to cheap to resist. I even get Wi-Fi in my sleeping bag, so I can write this review...
