I rated Anna Hernandez one star because anything less is not available. Anna is as shady as they come! I guess if you need a paralegal that has no morals and is willing to cheat, she might be your pick. But if you see her name on the documents from someone who is opposing you, know that something very wrong is going on. My sister changed my parents' trust, excluding my brother and me. I later learned that when she was involved, she had my elderly father sign documents he did not understand, and notarized documents that showed my father signed and the supposed witness to his signature signed on different dates. She is blatantly unprofessional and unethical. Also, I've heard that Anna has been involved in very similar situations involving other families in Azusa. She's old and near the end of her career; it's unfortunate she wasn't reported to the American Bar Association many years ago. read more

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY HERE!! My father had a case and she wanted to charge my dad $600+ so I decided to ask a friend to go with us. She later charged us only $300. I received more papers in the mail about the case so I called her and she said she doesn't know what that was. How are you not going to know what it is. So I decided to go in person to see her again and she wanted to charge me more. I decided to communicate with a lawyer and he said she was doing everything WRONG and that she responded to the court summons with two sentences. She charge $300 for two sentences. 2! And if you ask her about the case or even tell her something about the case, she is will push you aside and make you feel like she doesn't care. She will avoid you as much as possible. I usually don't write "bad" reviews for businesses because I know how damaging they can be to a company but the lack of knowledge and customer service form Anna has created a whole bunch of problems for us that I feel could of definitely been avoided had I went to a professional such as an attorney. I was uneducated in the process of living wills and trusts. When I came to Anna back in 2012, I was looking for someone who can help with legal advice in the matter of property. She advised us that the best route to go was just to transfer title now for the home instead of the trust this way no one could contest it. She told us the house would not be "reassessed" for an increase in property taxes because it was transferring from direct decedent. Well that did not apply for grandparent to grandchild! Her lack of knowledge costs me thousands of dollars that we were not expecting to have to pay! That wasn't the only problem, now that we are trying to sell the house I am having to pay for a notary to redo the work she supposedly did because as the broker said "It was not done right!" Save yourself the trouble and just go to an attorney. You'll pay more but you'll have a piece of mind in knowing everything was done right!!!!! read more

No coaching whatsoever and the worse part is she didn't bother to tell me in order to secure my portion of my ex husbands pension that I needed to submit a QDRO. She gave my mother and I the impression she was a paralegal, and she's NOT!!! She's an LDA, which essentially is a Legal Document Assistant! Same as going into the court and getting the self help FOR FREE! I called her, and she asked me to come into her office to review my paperwork! THE WHOLE time she was taking personal calls, and calls from potential and present clients. I can give you the DETAILS of these peoples cases. She even elaborated on others while I was there. She stated to me, and I QUOTE, "I normally charge $85 dollars for a consult, but I didn't tell you that over the phone, so I'm just going to do it for you, while I wait for my computer to re-boot". I left with the good notion, that she was going to help me in my matter, but after talking to a REAL LAWYER, and someone who actually has a law degree and practices law, I came to the conclusion that I didn't need her services to draft me a dismissal. Which was my mistake for paying for services that weren't even done!!! Thus, I called her today to get a refund, and she just went on and on and on. I tried to kindly cut her off and tell her essentially I don't need her services (which she actually didn't do anything). She said I wasn't being fair, and that she gave me her time. Yet I reiterated to her what she told me, and she said fine I'll give you half back. HALF? for giving me a proof or services, THAT SHE DIDN'T EVEN DO! (A nice old man named Rene was the one who did the service. SO she essentially was charging me for a piece of paper. I proceeded to ask her for her license, and her business license number, which she refused to give me because it wasn't near her, yet it's suppose to be posted in a prominent place. She said if I want I could come in. My mom called her since it was her card, and she told my mom to just dispute the charges with the credit card company. Which we are. NEVER AGAIN. read more

I asked knowing that this type of service usually requires you to come in and sit down, but I found the complete opposite with Anna. I am wondering why so many reviews so perfect others extreme negetive. But I am very disappointed! Anna is kind but does not take questions very lightly she gets very defensive with you. I filed for restraining order and court didn't even have the papers when I was seen by judge plus proof of service form was left up to me along with the serving of it which my son did who hasn't been feeling well. Then day of court guy moved out. Then the unlawful detainer I paid her in advance was not reimbursed when I asked her if I'd get anything back she stopped texting me period. So I spent 1250 for a restraining order and an unlawful detainer of which she did type up a 15 day notice my son served that as well but like I said day of court on restraining order the guy moved out. We're very disappointed. We feel so ripped off tenant sat April to august paid nothing. Then what she did. I got no contract only a receipt for my 1250.00. I intend to go to small claims With this. State of Ca as was recommended by my attorney. read more
