Staff are super friendly and kind. Just an update for those who like gifts that matter They are selling the cutest wooden houses in support of mental health . All the proceeds go the maker which is really amazing. They have a map of Manitoba and come with a little star so you can place your town on the map. For 15-20 dollars they are a steal and will look super cute in my kitchen. The staff said you can email the maker for custom provinces. I think they would make a great gift for a great cause.

They have more changing rooms and a ton of cute casual and party dresses from $80-$150. Lots of accessories like scarves, hats, earrings and necklaces that won't break the bank. It's a fun place to shop and a must stop for me when I am in the Village.

The very best interaction came when she acknowledged my low funds and asked me if I had a similar dress at home. I told her I did but I didn't know how to make it look 'sharp and with it.' She brought out earrings and a scarf and suggested they would work. I asked her if I could bring in the dress the next day and we could put them all together. She agreed!!! I brought them in. It occupies the former Sears store's bedding and bed department. It was my first time visiting a Uniqlo store that wasn't in the greater Toronto area. I will say that I liked the local designers who created a Winnie the Pooh and Piglet t-shirt, to honour this city, and a hockey t-shirt. I wanted to get these t-shirts. The price point made me think twice about it. As much as I want to support local, paying $40 a t-shirt felt like a lot of money to shell out. I only own a t-shirt, underwear, and a lightweight puffy coat from Uniqlo. I am a fairly new customer. I do love what I own. The pieces are comfortable. I also bought these pieces when they were on sale and I had a coupon through signing up for the company's mailing list. I liked the moon-shaped crossbody bags. They look comfortable, lightweight, and practical. I saw a pair of lightweight denim shorts that looked comfortable. I will see if they ever go on sale. The same goes with their linen pants and tops. I like that this chain has graphic t-shirts and larger shoe sizes. Torrid accommodates curvy women, which I appreciate. I don't exactly fit the demographic perfectly, but I can manage to wear clothing on the smaller side of the sizing scale. It's cool. I do like options. This store was clean and bright. There were deals everywhere. The best deals were in the back left of the store. I managed to find a pair of cargo pants that were regularly $109, but were reduced to $30. They looked like they would fit me. I wasn't sure because I had never bought pants here. I needed to find a fitting room. I headed to the checkout area and asked a female staffer if I could try them on. She was friendly, said yes, and led me to a fitting room by unlocking the door. These pants fit perfectly. The length and inseam were great. I could breathe in them. Yay! I looked around and liked a cardigan. It was lightweight, but Winnipeg was going through a heatwave outside that I couldn't look at any clothing for Fall. I found the graphic t-shirts. I liked the Care Bears one. Nothing truly screamed at me. It probably means that I'm content with my wardrobe. I found my sneakers that I had bought almost a year ago. They are so comfortable. It was one of my favourite purchases from this chain. I headed to the checkout area. It took a while for the nice woman to return. She was helping another person unlock a fitting room. I wasn't in a rush. It allowed me to look at the earring sets. I love them. They are comfortable and the designs are cute. I recommend signing up for Torrid rewards. I got an additional $10 off my purchase when I was here. My pair of cargo pants were $20 after all the discounts. Yay! The best way for the staffer to find your rewards account is to provide your phone number. Easy peasy! I paid with a credit card. I tapped and I was done. She put my item in a paper bag with handles. I thanked her and happily left with my purchase. I'm pleased with my new cargo pants and the price that I paid for them. I loved shopping here. I hope to return the next time I'm at the outlet. This past spring Beverly and Kaylee went above and beyond by putting together a box of things for my daughter and shipped it to Vancouver for her to try - all the items were spot on. At Christmas they helped me figure out what to get for my colleagues across the country.
