When I tried to talk to the owner about not being happy she chewed me out instantly when she called me back and accused me of being a shop hopper. I think she thought I wanted my money back but I only wanted to ask her to try and fix it instead of letting the other stylist try to fix it. If she didn't get it right the first time why should I trust her to fix it! The funny thing is I had been going there for about a year with another gal but decided to try another girl since she was new. Very unprofessional. Shame on the owner as well. My hair was a darker brown then my natural shade but nothing too drastic. My stylist's name was Hannah I believe. She did several things to my hair and when my appointment was over she said my tips were a bit darker then my roots but that you couldn't see a line for my roots and it looked very natural. The salon doesn't have very good lighting so I looked in the mirror and thought it was fine. Upon going home and looking at my hair in my very well lit bathroom I saw that you could still see my roots very clearly and now the top of my hair was a lighter shade of brown and the bottom was a much darker shade. The transition was not at all natural, with lines dividing each shade. When calling them back, the salon workers acted like they couldn't be bothered to talk about my unhappy situation and told me that it was the best possible job they could have done. To say I was disappointed was an understatement. The second time I went was because it was prom and I already had the appointment and I knew I wouldn't be able to get another in time. Again I left the salon with something that looked nothing like what I asked for. Because day Modish it seems like the workers just like to do their own interpretations of what you ask for. I will never ever be going back there and I recommend that you don't either.

I don't trust many people with mine because it's taken me a long time to grow it out and take care of it, but he was the first person to cut it after two years of no trims, and I've been coming back every three months ever since. This time around, I came in for a trim and a Keratin Express treatment, and the results were wowwwww. With all the rain lately, I usually get a ton of frizz, but this treatment actually works and is totally worth the hype. I also picked up a few products Cameron recommended including a mousse, an anti‑frizz serum, and a thermic treatment. Full disclosure: I'm a Kérastase lover and have been using the brand for years, but I didn't know about these specific treatments. Now I'm obsessed. My hair feels so smooth, glowy, and healthy. I found this place because I saw a review that said someone travelled 4 hours to go here because Alicia did such a great job. I called & they said they had a hypo-allergenic hair color for me. I made the appointment & showed up on time with my mask etc. Alicia seemed super nice and the hair color did not burn my head. I liked the color and it turned out great except the roots were lighter than rest of my hair. My hair was super long and was giving me a head ache. I asked if she was really good with long,, thick & wavy hair. She said yes and I allowed her to cut it. It sadly was very chopped in the back. I was very sad. I did go back a 2nd time for root touch up though because I needed it & MI was just opening. When I asked her to blow dry the back with a little flip, she said something like "Nope not doing that!" I just said nothing and left. But that first visit, I should've known that something was wrong when she didn't want me to see the back of my hair until she curled it . She offered to curl it for free. I'm pretty sure it's because she was trying to hide the 2- layers that were cut without any blending. I wanted the back shortened so sides could match up. I even showed a Pic of the too short cut that I hated and she gave me the same cut. I have been in tears for weeks, have even ordered some wigs. Yes it was that bad. I ended up going to someone else who couldn't believe a professional had hacked my layers so bad, left areas almost bald.
