So, I needed a place to get my grey hair roots touched up, because after 3 months I'd had enough…read more I waited & waited but we had a Dr appt in Toledo & since MI was still closed, I decided to go & get my roots touched up. I found this place because I saw a review that said someone travelled 4 hours to go here because Alicia did such a great job. I called & they said they had a hypo-allergenic hair color for me. I made the appointment & showed up on time with my mask etc. Alicia seemed super nice and the hair color did not burn my head. I liked the color and it turned out great except the roots were lighter than rest of my hair. My hair was super long and was giving me a head ache. I asked if she was really good with long,, thick & wavy hair. She said yes and I allowed her to cut it. It sadly was very chopped in the back. I was very sad. I did go back a 2nd time for root touch up though because I needed it & MI was just opening. When I asked her to blow dry the back with a little flip, she said something like "Nope not doing that!" I just said nothing and left. But that first visit, I should've known that something was wrong when she didn't want me to see the back of my hair until she curled it . She offered to curl it for free. I'm pretty sure it's because she was trying to hide the 2- layers that were cut without any blending. I finally went back to my regular salon & they had to cut more in order to fix it. So you can decide if you want to go here or not?

I wanted the back shortened so sides could match up. I even showed a Pic of the too short cut that I hated and she gave me the same cut. I have been in tears for weeks, have even ordered some wigs. Yes it was that bad. I ended up going to someone else who couldn't believe a professional had hacked my layers so bad, left areas almost bald. Everytime I drive by I want to scream out the window -don't go here. The worst part is my hair grows very slowly and I will have to live with these for 6 mths to a yr before it will be tolerable.

During my first visit, he listened to me fumble my way through the explanation of what I normally go for in terms of style, and then he figured out how to do that - with his own stylish twist. I love it. I found my stylist. Part of me doesn't want to tell you about it so I can have the booking calendar all to myself. That just wouldn't be right though - you should know about Studio C.
