Ese was our photographer for our big day, and he was wonderful! He was very creative, and had…read morenumerous suggestions for where we could take beautiful outdoor shots (we chose the Japanese Gardens in Geneva, IL which were incredibly beautiful). He set up a beautiful and emotional first look for us there as well. I loved that he personalized my package for what I was looking for (I had a breakfast in the morning I was hoping he could photograph- and he said no problem), and that he got all of the big moments in our day- from getting ready until the very end- he literally traveled around with us all day. My favorite part was that we walked from the church to the reception hall and he had someone in my family move his car over so he could walk with us and photograph our private moments together. Ese is friendly and fun, and my bridal party enjoyed him throughout the entire day. He definitely shoots in the photo journalistic style, so there will not be a lot of time spent on "group shots" unless you specifically ask. Ese is a bit pricey, but his price included the day- I never felt like he was going to say, "your eight hours are up, I'm leaving even though there are still big things to happen" which is different than many photographers I've seen at events. Photographer is one of the most important wedding day decisions and I was so pleased with our choice. Definitely check out his site- you will not be disappointed.

Failing to be professional with what casting directors demand is a roadblock. Submissions are "make or break" power moves. THE ODDS ARE AGAINST the apex storybook discovery tales of rarities like JLAW, Michele Pfeiffer, Charlize Theron etc. so if you expect that to be your way in...it's not reality. I get cast and work in these markets: NYC (Netflix movies), Atlanta (Marvel/ABC), and Mid-Atlantic (Apple TV). I am new to the business (three years in) but I have been building a resume over time and there is no way I am going to compromise because I take my career seriously. There is no slack given in a highly competitive industry with a dearth of roles and a surplus of talent. SO...if you want to crack the code, get seen, get call backs, get booked then there is no better photographer for any amount of money than BK Rose and Kat is my Queen. I get work in commercials, major motion pictures, network tv shows because of her. Fact! She had some beautiful options but I ended up going with a dress of my own. Kat is truly a child/baby whisperer and was able to soothe my 3 week old to get her to cooperate for pictures and got my shy toddler to smile for photos! We received our pictures within 2 days of our photoshoot and they are nothing short of incredible. We have gotten so many compliments on how beautiful and stunning they look. What's included in the package is made unclear, so I never got what I expected. In addition, during the shoot he said that he could take my arm out if I had it on my kiddo and when I reminded him of this later, he said that was considered a complex edit and would cost money but they'd do it complmenetary that time. Had he told me this at the time of the shoot, we would have done something differently to get photos without me there in the background. Not cool.

Miguel came to my parents' house and took photos in their backyard. He got pictures of my parents together, with each of us kids, with our own families, and with all the grandkids too. Miguel was super professional, friendly, and easy to work with. He made everyone feel comfortable and was really flexible with what we wanted. We just got the photos back and my whole family was really happy with how they turned out. Highly recommend him!
