On the left is Lucy the day she was groomed by Mother Puppers, on the right is Lucy after having her redone by the groomer we use to use, who, by the way had almost nothing to work with... Sorry Mother Puppers... But seriously, you need a new groomer...Lucy had not a single mat! There is really no excuse for such shoddy work...She wasn't even bathed.

I honestly hesitated to write this review, especially after seeing so much positive feedback from…read moreothers which is why I waited almost a month to share my experience. I boarded my dog here for five days and called to check on him multiple times (3-4 times). Each time, I was told he was doing well aside from a small bout of diarrhea one day. However, when I picked him up, there were several concerning issues that I believe should have been communicated to me earlier. His elbows and knees were rubbed raw almost like road rash. Even a week or two later, the scabs were still healing. I'm not sure what could have caused this other than being kept on concrete, which I specifically asked about. I was told that beds would be provided. (photo included was taken a week and a half after return) More concerning, when I brought him home, he had blood coming from his mouth enough that it got on my arm when I touched him. Again, nothing about this was ever mentioned in any of the calls or while I talked to her when I picked him up. While there are things I liked about this facility--the website is well done, I appreciated the photo they sent during his stay, and I like that the dogs are kept separate for safety I believe there needs to be more attention to the animals' well-being and more transparency when issues arise. The pricing is affordable, which I can understand being a draw for many people, but unfortunately, based on my experience, I wouldn't feel comfortable recommending this place to a friend.

I read the comment above and I had to post this comment in response. THE VET NOT A PEOPLE…read morePERSON. But she's such a good vet ! I've heard great things about this vet. She helps a lot of adopted dogs that are in rough shape get back to perfect physical health again ! She's not a people person so what. Her patients are animals. As long as my dog is happy. I'm happy with my vet. Also. Bearpaw vet they Euthanize lost dogs after 3 days !!!!! we live in rural Montana sometimes it takes a person awhile to find where there animal got dropped off at. Especially if there an old farmer. If it's a big farm, and they're busy, they might not even know their dog ran off for a few days. When I heard this, I was very disappointed and it makes me very sad. I know there's somebody that would adopt the animals before they were euthanized. I pray, and hope that they stop euthanizing animals that have lost their way.

The next time we called to see if they can remove some quills, the person who answered was downright rude over the phone. We opted to go to Bear Paw vet and they were so friendly, very accommodating, and patient with our questions.
