She and I had a wonderful conversation about her shop, her items, and the sentimental value she has for them. She told me about her travels and past as well. She sold me one of her very loved pieces from her own collection so I can gift it to my mother. She was so lovely and so excited it was going to a home where it would be appreciated. This is easily the best antique shop I have had the pleasure to visit so far. I have the outmost respect for the owner and her business and anyone is lucky to get to know her!

Rusted with four broken chairs , we saw possibilities and The Irony restored the beauty we envisioned. They sandblasted and powder-coated all the wrought iron, rebuilt the chairs which were once a folding style into a stationary style and replaced the broken seats with stainless steel mesh. Their workmanship and attention to detail is amazing!

The most recent one recreated a factory, speciality antique bronze finish on bathroom plumbing fixtures that was inadvertently damaged. I thought it was too far gone, but the Irony thought-through the needed process that saved me the heartache of having to replace them. It's true skilled artistic work that's hard to find, but easily accessible in the Hamptons.
