The cleaning staff ignored our "do not disturb" sign and came in to clean. I was using the towel racks to dry my clothes so they left the clean towels on the bidet. That's probably the most unsanitary spot in the whole room (besides the toilet). Unless you want a cheap place to stay I would not recommend this hotel.

The location is really good - 15 mins from Milan central station, a really nice park about 30 seconds down the road. And about a minute walk to the repubblica underground stop. If you walked from the hotel to the main city central this would take about 20 minutes give or take. Inside the hotel the decor is quite modern and clean. The staff were very friendly spoke good English and we're happy to help with any questions. We forgot to bring an adaptor from England and they simply had one to lend until we checked out which I thought was really handy. We were upgraded to a superior room and my goodness this was nice. It wasn't a huge room but you had all the luxuries you needed. Really quite impressive. We had breakfast included with our stay and this was really nice, it was mainly a continental breakfast with a help yourself type of deal. There were staff readily available if you wanted to have say, an omelette or scrambled eggs cooked fresh. The staff here in the morning were very personable and friendly. All in all if I ever stay in Milan again I will be looking at staying here again!

Located at walking distance from the railway station, but out of the dirty and unsafe area, and just next to the popular Corso Buenos Aires, the hotel has a small entrance on the street and rooms in the higher floors of the building (the first part is taken by a movie theater). Rooms are clean and offer basic but enough furniture, and staff is polite. The breakfast room is large enough but the hotel offers only Italian breakfast, so cereals, coffee and croissants rather than a continental buffet. Prices are affordable.

They couldn't explain. I tried to refuse to pay and asked them to send a bill to my company. Then they THREATENED me. I couldn't believe it. I don't live in Italy, I needed to travel later that day, and I didn't have time to call the police, but if I was in my home country I certainly would have. Do not stay here.

The bread selection was an embarrassment to Italian cuisine. But, the staff was great. A really good Carrefour supermarket is across the street (and a corner shop is 50 meters away.) Each floor is color coded with similar striking graphics and grayscale photos that include colored sections that match the decor. Rooms have small fridges and a decent size tv (if that's important to you) There's a skeleton crew of staff that seem friendly enough but not overtly so. The downsides are the rooms are pretty small and there is no view whatsoever out the window. I'm not talking about a view of the alleyway or the car park, I'm talking about a 3 foot tall piece of frosted glass that blocks any view for anyone under 7 feet tall! Now there's not much to see outside on the front of the hotel but on the backside (west side) where my room was located was a nice park with a soccer field , playground and benches. Not sure why I wouldn't want to see that. but still, that's a new one for me. The biggest problem IMHO is that that pace is kinda in the middle of nowhere. It's 30 min walking to the cathedral and the shops near there and other than the Basilica di Sant'Ambrogio there really isn't much nearby in any direction. If you've got a car or are familiar with the metro ( there is a nearby stop) this might be more appealing but if you like to explore on foot there may be better options for you.
