They got me in at 1:45. The staff were all friendly and nice. I liked the doctor very much as well. He was thorough and helpful. Knocking off a star because there is a 3% fee for credit cards, which sure, many restaurants charge, and they DID tell me this when I made the appointment so I was prepared to pay via check. However, I have a HSA (Health Savings Account) which I would have had to pay extra out if because of this silly fee. Seems extreme for a physician to charge that in my opinion.

Talked to me about the paperwork as I am a new patient to the practice. Nurse provided wonderful and thorough instructions for my current and future care. Doctor Mahavir was absolutely fantastic! discussed all my options for care and went over the procedure and was genuinely concerned for my well being. I underwent lumbar spinal fusion surgery performed by Dr. Snavely on February 26, 2025. Needless to…read moresay, I went into the O.R. with a measure of trepidation - even though I've had surgery elsewhere over the years on both ankles, one shoulder, one detached retina, both hips replaced and one knee replacement. In other words, I am not unfamiliar with what major surgery entails, especially post-op. But this surgery involved my CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM! Scary thought. Dr. Snavely was not just good, nor was he great, he was - and remains (had my six-week follow-up yesterday) - PHENOMENAL!! Six weeks out of surgery, I am walking without my pre-existing "waddle/penguin" gait, turning and stopping "on a dime" (okay, a bit of hyperbole; I am not nor was I ever Barry Sanders) with nary a trace of pain. I am ELATED about not just the result, but also the commitment to the patient that I have experienced. So, much of my time was spent idle. I stated this in a survey sent to me. The following session, I was confronted about the survey, which I would have thought confidential and anonymous. This was very unprofessional and made future experiences awkward. There are a couple people who concentrated on my progress. They were mentioned in the aforementioned survey. There was also a financial dispute, which I won't discuss here, that ended in me cancelling the remainder of my sessions.
