Dr. is highly competent, caring and reassuring, and compassionate. Dr. takes time to review things, listen to my questions and issues, examine records and history. Then gives sound advice, recommendations, and sincere encouragement. I have been very fortunate to have had his expert care for several years now. It had been extremely difficult to find such an excellent caregiver for myself that I look forward to seeing, and have the sense that he is genuinely interested in helping me. Dr. Gallo is amazing! Been helping me now for about 3 years. He has gotten several of my issues under control and has changed me life!! I will never not be grateful to him for what he has done for me! He really listens to your issues and helps you find the right medication and dosage you need. I had to try a few before finding that worked for me and he was there every step of the way listening and figuring out what to try next. Another thing is he always has time for his patients and always responds back when messaged. And its actually him, not some assistant getting back to you for him. Small things like that make such a big impact when it comes to trusting your doctor. He actually cares! I have been seeing Dr. Anthony Gallow for the past two years, during which time he has been instrumental in helping me manage my ADHD and navigate the challenging period of depression following a traumatic divorce. After careful consideration I decided to change psychiatrists and become a patient of Dr. Anthony Gallo I had met with Dr. Gallo seven months ago for an initial consultation and at that point decided to stay with my longtime psychiatrist But of late I have felt the need to change and Dr. Gallo was accepting new patients and also excepting Medicare and my supplemental insurance. I like his website and I like his directness and honesty. He is only doing telehealth appointments at this point which is fine but eventually when his North Kingstown office opens that is definitely commutable for me from my Middletown home. I have been living with bipolar disorder for half a century, and Dr. Gallo is bar far the best psychopharmacologist I have ever had. A little over two months ago, I was manic and highly anxious partly due to the ineptitude of my previous prescriber. I switched to Dr. Gallo and currently believe I am at baseline and no longer need to be on Klonapin for anxiety. I have been trying to get off of Klonipin for 30 years. Dr. Gallo is always prompt, courteous and kind. My former doctor of over 30 years had retired, and I had been to quite a few other physicians who just did not listen, did not care, and thought that every patient should have the same fix across the board. I was fortunate to find Dr. Gallo just before Covid. Since then we've had Telehealth visits. He really listens to me and has helped me by improving my quality of life. Panic disorders can be debilitating, ruining an entire day. The other thing I really like is his compassionate nature and his willingness to find programs, apps, & books that have really helped.
