The office staff is incredibly unprofessional. The assistants don't tell you who they are, if you call there, it's hard to get anyone on the phone. I called for results several times and I have to wait for them to be there from lunch or in the office, as they leave early. I paid cash for my appointment and waited on blood results. They called and left messages on my phone leaving no indication of the blood results. On the day I could reach them, I was put on hold for 20 minutes before someone would help me... and the nurse? or assistant? Lori... did not want to tell me my results, it was like pulling teeth. I had to ask questions and she hesitantly answered them. For example, I asked if my vitamin D levels were on track now. Lori told me my numbers were a little lower than what they should be and she said the Dr. said I should take a vitamin D supplement over the counter. Meanwhile... she was ready to end the call with, "your results are ready upfront at the desk". Then Lori said.. "oh why were you taking something for it"? I said, "yes, Dr. Darrow gave me a vitamin D script" that ran out. Also, when you initially go into the office, the girls behind the desk don't even acknowledge that you are there unless you say something to them. I am going to find a place that cares for and values their patients. This place, to me, is unacceptable... even if the Dr. is good. Just my opinion.

Real, down to earth, not fancy but honest, thorough and terrific. I had seen her for an intial meeting and then went back several months later for a physical. She remembered me. She asked personal questions that we had discussed on the last visit. I know she knew who I was. In a busy practice and being new, I was impressed. The only reason she got 4 stars is you will wait FORVER. Be prepared. For me it is worth it. I waited 2 hours to see her but she spent a good hour with me. She never makes you feel rushed. If you can sit there and not get frustrated waiting, she is well worth the wait. Don't be shy. she will look over every inch of your naked body and prod and poke but you will know you are in great hands and if she says you are OK and healthy, you are.

My newer GP has been incredible about following up with blood test results and referring me to specialists including a hematologist and oncologist. While Dr. Anand and her staff confirmed that I was experiencing severe anxiety, depression and insomnia, she insisted dropping my majors/minors and "working less hard". I asked her to speak to to my therapist so her opinion of my condition was more well rounded and she outright refused to prescribe an SSRI. She also claimed that she was uninformed about a condition I have despite it being very common and further claimed she didn't know the effects of adding a new medication to the ones I was already taking. This doctor is horrendous and I'm so glad that I've found providers who are actually invested in my well being. Dr. Anand could not have chased me out of her office quick enough.

And it has been on a steady decline these past few years. I went to get a copy of my grandson's immunization records for college, the first receptionist, and I use that term lightly, typed his information into the computer and said, my computer is frozen, got up from her desk and asked the other assistant to help me. The next "assistant" typed in his information and handed me 1 sheet of paper with 1 immunization record from Aug. 23 on it and said that's all they have. I proceeded to tell her that was impossible, as he has been a patient of Dr. Hoerning for 3 years and ALL his records were transferred from his pediatrician. She insisted that was all they had. Again, I told her that was impossible. I asked if the doctor was in as this was not right. Well, she then asked the other woman if she could help me. What do you know? Out came 5 sheets of paper with ALL his immunization records from the time of his birth. I will continue to use Dr. Hoerning and Heather, as they are phenomenal, but something must be done about his office staff, before patients start looking for care at another more amicable and professional front office staff.

Rushed to ER for 2 year old falling and landing on head. Nobody exams pupils, nobody checked…read moreairway. My daughter threw up after falling on head, twice. Then at front desk of ER, threw up again. No doctor examined, just gave her half a zofran for nausea. 40 minutes to get a head ct. now it's an hour. I ask About results as I saw this as an emergency before they suppressed the nausea. "oo it's down time" that's the response I got as if I know what it means. After I inquired what it means, I was told the system is down, 3 hours. "This is normal" I inquired this is head trauma, does she have a brain bleed and we're waiting 3 hours for results? "On no they replied, we'd know that almost immediately, they'd call down" of so my daughter is fine? From what we know they reply. they continue, "we are just waiting on the paper work. Wtf mind of system is this? Is this not negligent, nobody checked her eyes, airway, reflexes, NOTHING. I am sure this will cost a billion dollars. I feel as tho they want me to walk out but what kind of parent would I be to not wait for a dumb paper to be "official" Horrible bed side manor too.
