Went in for 2 pedicures. Everything was all Smiles until I told them I wanted regular polish and not Gel. The tech asked me twice before sitting down and 6 times during the pedicure if I want gel and each time I told her regular. My sister and I soaked for maybe 1 min before they started working on us. The 2 techs answered a FaceTime call and proceeded to communicate with the person on the line. When they asked us again about polish, they looked at each other and laughed and said things in their language. The service was extremely rushed and the experience was not good at all. Went for acrylic overlay removal and set which turned out okay. .. the technician (male) was rough and aggressive and tried to rip off my nails to which I asked him nicely to please soak them and he tried to convince me ripping them off would work. I declined. The nails came out okay however almost every finger is sore from the aggressive poking and drilling at my cuticle beds. I will go back but will avoid this man. read more

Years of excellent service keep me going back. Everyone is just so nice! The services are great - I get a signature pedicure with gel polish and powder dipped nails. Sometimes I add eyebrow waxing. Hannah always takes wonderful care of me! Another plus for me is that it is generally peaceful and relaxing. Most customers are considerate of others and keep distractions down. Just got a the most rushed unpleasant pedicure of my life. From the moment I sat down until the moment I was whisked away it was 13 minute ls. The pedicure where the tech didn't even rinse off my feet so I was walking with soap still on my feet to the drying table. Additionally I was rushed to the drying chair when no one was waiting and I was in the only pedicure chair to sit on a stool instead. When seated I was then rushed to pay and the tech stood over me staring as I was deciding if I was even going to tip. I get being rushed ins. Busy salon, but it wasn't. I got a gel polish change with Mia (or Mya) and she was INCREDIBLY rude. She was an older lady full of attitude. She kept rolling her eyes, snatching my hands and being rough, and she was fussing at me for not reentering my hand into the gel light after the polish was already cured. She rushed through my service and when I asked for an extra coat of polish so it wouldn't be as sheer, she huffed and puffed and told me to quit looking at my hands. She did a friend of mines service too and treated her with the same disrespect. Had such a pleasant spa experience today, without even getting to enjoy my favorite spa chair massage. The atmosphere is luxurious and so soothing and the awesome service was fast, proficient, detailed and professional which compelled me to write this review! I was in dire need of a mani and pedi however, since I had another appointment within that next hour I did not foresee both being feasible. So when I walked in, I stated that I would only get a mani. The manager insisted he could get me both getting me out on time, within an hour. They made it happen without cutting any corners or slack on neither my mani nor pedi. My nails and toes both look so nice! Mya (pedi tech) and Le (mani tech) both simultaneously did an excellent job and were great conversationalist! I got a full set at this place, with gel polish and this is the quality of service. (See photos) I requested another person to fix it and I was told that I would have to pay to get another set. I have already paid $165.00 for a set and pedicure! This is the sloppiest job I have ever seen a nail technician do. I'm sitting here waiting on someone to come tell me what they plan to do update: nails were done Friday, went back Saturday to request someone to fix them, they couldn't because they were busy and ask me to come back (I live 45 min away) so I went today on my lunch. They made me use the same person, I decided to do a French manicure for the polish hoping that would fix the issue with the pitiful polish job with color. I got told that normally that's an extra $10.00 but I wouldn't be charged since I have been there 3 times in the last 4 days. Well isn't that just nice! I will not be returning to this place!!! Today is July 20, 2024. On May 15, 2024 I visited Anthony Vince for a regular pedi and gel mani. The pedi was first (by an older woman I hadn't seen there before). While sitting, another service provider (another older woman who, again, I had never seen before) began removing the old gel polish with a nail file. Not the normal liquid remover/foil wrap method. This process went on, on, on, on, and on. I began to get concerned, but said nothing (my fault). She filed so much and so long that the sides of my nails began to turn red (after getting home I realized it was blood that had come to the surface and the nail bed had been compromised. To inflict more discomfort, she continued to complete the entire gel manicure while I sat in the pedi chair, even though, the pedi ended 20 minutes before she completed my manicure. Two days later, I went to Royal Nails because the gel polish was already chipping off and nails breaking and splitting. They refused to put any product on my nails saying they were too damaged and that I would need to allow the nail bed to heal. On July 16th, I was finally able to return to gel polish. During the past two months I experienced my nails continuously breaking and splitting - deep into the nail bed causing bleeding and soreness. I'm sure I could have had a law suit and really should have pursued it. I travel a lot with my job which would have made it difficult, but the main reason I didn't move forward to seek compensation is I've found they will deny any wrong doing for any situation and I felt it was a lost cause. I love coming here! I've been coming here for a few years! They are very clean and sanitary and the inside is just gorgeous from the cloud Victorianesque painted ceilings to the chairs to the overall ambience. My nails and toes look absolutely amazing every time I leave here! But I will say that it depends on which technician you go to as far as the quality and the look of the nails go! But my technician here is so great at her job and I will keep coming back here as long as she works here! My nails have lasted a month and I still get compliments on them every time that I go out. Probably the best nail salon in Montgomery as far as decor goes. They ya e all the newest chairs and lights. It's very well organized...even down to the gel nail color choices that are looped onto several key chain rings instead of loose in a big basket. Sooo many colors to choose from! You could easily get overwhelmed! It's located in Eastchase right next to DSW Shoe Store. I paid $60 for a spa pedicure and manicure with gel polish. The male tech did an excellent job on my nails. I have no complaints. They also offered me a free bottwater which came in handy on a hot day. Update: I'm back a year later and I guess prices have gone up! I should have paid attention to the reviews. Entered the salon and it was empty besides the 2 women that walked in right before me so I was feeling good about the visit. I requested the Royal pedicure which is $60. A gentleman behind me was offered wine and the lady that eventually came in later was offered water. I was never offered anything. Okay...the least of my concerns. Next. My technician was obviously not skilled. She was pulling and tugging on my cuticles and did a horrible job on them. Also my foot scrub was below mediocre. To keep from writing a book, I will end with photos of the horrible job she did on painting my toe nails. She rubbed my toe while helping me put on my flip flops and messed up the polish on my little toe but sent me out the shop without fixing it. I saw it but didn't bother since she had done a poor job anyway. UPDATE/RESPONSE TO MANAGEMENT: I did speak up while there and even had her to fix the polish on my big toe which only still looked horrible. I also stopped her from tugging on my cuticle and told her that it hurt. She continued. As a customer I am not there to train your employees, I am there to relax. This place ruined my eyelashes and my nails. I came for permanent eyelash extensions and the lady who did them ended up gluing the eyelashes to my eyelids!! It has been almost 6 months and my eyelashes are still not the same. The guy who did my manicure (which they forced me to have while I was getting my pedicure) begin filing my nails in a completely different shape than they were originally in and ended up shortening them dramatically! I expressed to him that I had been growing out my nails for an important event and that I was very upset. I had to end up filing my nails on my own so the shape would at least look decent. I would only go to this place as a last resort. The decor and facility is luxurious looking but it's not worth it if the service is not as expected. read more

This is your typical nail spa, but cleaner and with better service. We had a group of four come in for pedicures and they seated us together and worked us all at the same time. They even gave us wine. A couple of the girls had some really pretty artwork done. It has been a while since I've been to a nail salon, so forgive me if this isn't new, but I appreciated that they used a plastic bag-like thing to hold the water in the tub, rather than using the tub. I also appreciated that Linda painted the whole nail, to include the sides. Any other time that I've had a pedi, they only paint the top part of the nail. I'd go back here again. They directly proceeded with SNS without the regular manicure. I thought, they won't charge me for that but they did charge me $55 for god knows what. I haven't had my nails done all during Covid, so while I had a couple of hours to shoot waiting for my ride, I thought I would get my nails done at Anthony Vince. What a disappointment!! I had acrylics put on and got a manicure - cost me $55. By Saturday, 8 - yes 8! - of the nails had popped right off my fingers! Didn't even last a full week! I noticed when I was having them done the manicurist was a student. She obviously needs more training. First of all her manicure was anything but. Hardly touched my cuticles, and there was no hand massage. She just slathered some lotion on my arms and slapped them. And acrylics stay on forever - I've never had this happen before. I will never go back there - what a waste of money. And I was so looking forward to having my nails done after Covid! Go some place else and save your money. read more

I asked for a color for a pedicure and the woman who attended me brought FOUR colors to me because she didn't know which. I ended up not choosing the color I initially had. And when I told her I wanted the same color for my mani, she brought two colors and once again I had to choose. I normally have had great experiences here, but lately their customer service has been severely lacking. I walked in and requested a basic pedicure and the dip powder with tips. I even wrote this down on the sign in sheet when walking in. The pedicure was mediocre and the nail tech even scraped my foot cutting me. He then proceeds to start on my fingers and he began giving them a manicure and started dipping them in the powder. I repeatedly tried to say that I wanted the tips but he didn't seem to understand me and continued working. After almost 2 hours, he was finally finished and the product was just awful. My nails were uneven and and the coating had been just slapped on there that it didn't even look smooth. All of that for $78! I immediately had him take off the paint off my fingers and he didn't even get it all off correctly. They still charged me $40 for the pedicure + manicure even though I thought the manicure looked terrible. I will never go back there again and I wadvise others to take note of their poor service. RESPONSE TO MANAGEMENT: With all due respect, I shouldn't have to walk out of a nail salon bleeding and in pain, especially in a spot no where near my actual nails. I think the customer service needs to be drastically improved because the unevenness of my nails were the least of my worries. I went in for a pedicure and was greeted warmly at the door and immediately seated in one of many new massage chairs. As I watched Flip or Flop on one of the six televisions and listened to relaxing spa music, Mai gave me an absolutely fantastic pedicure. She is the very first person in Montgomery who did NOT tickle my feet using a pumice stone. That by itself is enough reason for me to return! I felt pampered, unrushed, and completely relaxed.
