Great hostess she knew her wines, service was a 10 the cheese and meat plate were full and great little spot in the middle of all the chaos!

The first round of wine (good pours) and the snack. Soooo good

Yes yes yes! I read Google reviews (which were nearly all 5 stars) and then came here and found they were not on here... So now they are. (As I use this more than Google) We walked in and we were quickly greeted by two amazing women who educated us on our options for wine tasting. We took the 5 wine option with snack. She came over after we sat and asked if anyone was a vegetarian, thankfully, as my fiance is. The "snack": look at my pictures. Great meat and cheese plate. Came with White bread and oil and balsamic vinegar. Amazing. The salami and the Gorgonzola cheese was delicious! Had bruschetta, 2 meats and 2 cheeses total. So good. The wines: All of the wines are very good. What was amazing was the description that she gave for each of the wines. She went in great detail with the region that each one came from and how they were made, aged and certified. The atmosphere: Stellar!!! Feels like you are in a little wine celler full of bricks and stone. Small enough to feel very personal but big enough to fit maybe 6 or 7 couples. Would come here again!

This is one of the best experiences we had in Florence. My husband and I were looking for wine tasting, and the owners went above and beyond. We did a 4 wine tasting with a snack for $25 bucks, which is a steal based off how knowledgeable the owner was. We really liked how the owners were so warm and welcoming. They did a great job in explaining where each wine is from and how to properly taste wine. I'd highly recommend this experience to anyone!

AMAZING! My husband and I walked passed the sign saying "wine tasting" and we figured why not. I didn't know if I ever would've found a red wine I loved if it wasn't for them. They also educate you on the wine flavor, where in Italy is it from, what to look for when shopping for wine. Best part, they ship to America! We did the three tastings each, and we told them what we typically drink and they were able to provide a tasting to match our pallet to what we described. If I could, I would go in nightly for a glass of Brunello di Montalcino. The "snack" charcuterie board was very tasty and fresh as well!

Extremely rude to English speaking customers. Treated us poorly when compared to Italian speaking customers that were served.

The owner and staff were fantastic, very knowledgeable and provided great recommendations. The wine bar itself is a small quaint little place. Probably seats about 12 to 15 people total and has plenty of windows so you can see passersby and people watch. The cheeseboard? Get the cheeseboard. They do a fantastic job of pairing everything together to really bring so many flavors to your tastebuds. Their house wine is phenomenal and they take great pride in finding the grapes/different varietals to make it come to life. They have a both a red and a white house wine option. The second time we went - and yes, we went more than once in the four days we were there - we enjoyed one of the sandwiches and it was absolutely amazing. The bread, I can't even explain, the bread it's so flavorful and so good and so light. That paired with the delicious meats and cheeses were 100% worth it. I definitely recommend this location to anybody who is visiting Florence regularly or for their first time.

There is seating inside for maybe a dozen people but we chose to sit at one of the 3 small tables outside to enjoy the nice weather. Draft beer was $6 euro and the mixed drinks varied from $8-12 euro. We met Alycia who is one of the owners. She was very pleasant and friendly. We stopped for a drink and stayed for 3 hours. We also stopped for a 2nd happy hour on our last day in Florence. Worth checking out if you happen to be in town and want a quieter spot. We loved it.

November 9, 2024 2:30PM…read more It does appear they have two stalls on the same street that you can order from. One side seemed to have more alcohol on display and the side I was on was more sandwich focused, but I'm pretty sure you can order the same things from both windows. Initially I was going to get the 21 - Fresh Sausage and Eggplant because I'm an eggplant lover... the lady at the counter was kind enough to let me know that the fresh sausage is actually rare, uncooked sausage and gave me a small piece to try. I was getting ready to get on a train that day and didn't want something that might not sit well with me, so I moved on to number 27 spicy salami and cream cheese. My partner got the number 1, ham, cream cheese and rocket salad. Both are very good sized and oh so delicious. The line moved quickly, so many options for decision paralysis. This is the place for schiacciate Florentine as recommended from friends who used to live here. Definitely would recommend to study up their menu before coming so it's easier to pick what you want. This is more of a stall and you grab and go, we stood around the sidewalk and inhaled our sandwiches. Watch out for the pigeons getting ready to take your crumbs too, you can see them on the ledge of the building getting ready to attack. A must visit for Florence.

The line is long right around lunch time but it moves fairly fast. They have a variety of choices so you might need time to decide. We got the proscuitto arrosto e crema tartufata and finocchiona e crema de formaggio. Proscuitto Arrosto E Crema Tartufata- The bread is soft and fresh. The roasted ham is tasty and the truffle cream adds a lovely flavor and ties the dish together. Finocchiona E Crema De Formaggio- Can't sing enough of their bread's praises! The tuscan salami is spicy and flavorful. The fennel is slightly sweet and the cream cheese is smooth and light. Great experience overall!
