I have numerous occasions where my son was given the foods he is highly allergic too. The school consistently stated they would provide substitutions for foods if he was unable to eat but that would just be a pile of pineapples or green beans. Not an actual meal substitution. I ended up bringing my own food to solve for this issue in which they would forget to make him his lunch and again substitute with a pile of pretzels for lunch. Just recently my child was stung by a bee. I picked him up and his hand was red and he was crying. I was not given a call, a text and there was no accident report given to me that day. This happened at 11am that day. It was only when I complained, did they produced the proper accident documentation. We stayed at the school for as long as we did because we had a great teacher (Ms Michelle) along the way and my son had made some close friends. Overall I do not trust the center to be open and honest with parents. There have been mixed messaging around their covid rules and the directors are extremely unpleasant to engage with. Try a different Kindercare.... this one is not the one!

The teachers have a very high turnover rate with most disappearing overnight with no explanation. The teachers are clearly miserable there as well.

Children of America has a lot of advantages over the other daycare facilities in the area: Daily reports can be viewed electronically (versus paper ones...SAVE THOSE TREES!), surveillance option, astroTurf for the outdoor playground (versus wood chips and dirt...that little ones like toddlers can easily gnaw or chew on,etc.). Last but not least, excellent Teachers and Directors. My son has now moved up to his 3rd room. Some teachers who have stood out are Ms. Linda, Ms. Theresa, Ms. Caitlyn, Ms. Leann, Ms. Destiny, Ms. Kat, Ms. Kobe, and Ms. Tricia. I would certainly recommend COA as they provide updates daily in an app along with video capabilities. He is literally excited every morning and so eager to enter Kidds Palace's doors & be greeted by the most pleasant staff, especially Ms. Alicia. My son adores her!
