Red flags about this church in my opinion! 1.Female pastor that's definitely not allowed biblically according to Timothy 2:12 to name one scripture. Jesus states in the Bible women learn in silence no authority in church over men no teaching etc . This is a new age practice that's not biblical and makes her a false prophet in my opinion. 2. Speaking in tongues I noticed the female pastor speaking In tongues which I don't think a female pastor would get the gift to do through Jesus . 3. It appeared like the female pastor also, claims to have testimonials from God and favor that doesn't seem very biblical sound to me or realistic that she would have these abilities 4. Lack of bibles or programs in the church during the services I was only one I noticed with a Bible I brought my pink new kings James Bible and I was the only one looking in my Bible to verify her messages . And I seemed to be getting a look of confusion every time I looked in the Bible. 5. Censored biblical stories she gives very short versions of the Bible stories barely mentioned David's sin etc.. seems like she edits parts of the Bible that may offend society . 6. The songs seemed like a motivational song instead of a sound gospel. 7. Lack of diversity their were only black people I don't know if that's bad but I just added it just in case. 8. She did mention sin and turning away from sin however , she made what I thought was a inappropriate description of how fun sin is. 9. They had books and events for sell and they also, asked for the offering multiple times and said it's the best part . 10. I suspect they were faking the Holy Ghost they mostly do motivational speaking and not actually speaking from the Bible with the occasional short biblical verse here and there . It seems more like a concert then a church. 11.I don't no there stance on homosexuality but I'd ask before attending I unfortunately didn't ask but I didn't see a pride flag so maybe they don't support it . 12. Also, she denied revelation in my opinion when she said I don't know about revelations but I know the come back is accepting and repenting and accepting Jesus Christ as lord paraphrasing but basically something along those lines. 13 . Leading kids and adults new in faith into a false gospel . 14. Very strong female leadership multiple females in control in general very few input from men very feminist . Sunday, July 10th. A gospel preaching church!…read more Everyone was really nice and welcoming. They were genuinely nice and caring. I would love to go back! The nursery was big, well staffed and looked like fun. Lots of kids! Good for young and not so young people. The message was so good, true and I learned a lot about Gods character through the pastor. I liked that he preached on what we can do in these current times with all of this tragedy/killing going on around us. They had coffee which was so nice. It's inside of a school which was different but until they get a building that's where it will be. It's a nice set up though, I didn't feel like I was in a school.
